At Leeds they were singing songs about the Leeds fans murdered in Istanbul. Sickening. I know they would defend their bile by reminding everyone of the vile Munich chants directed at them for many years but does that make it right?

Hang on a minute, can we not differentiate here? I'd like to think that decent football fans at every club are appalled by this kind of thing, whether it comes from opposition fans or their own.
It shouldn't come down to something so simplistic as Leeds fans do this or Man U fans do this, or Stoke fans do this. It should be a case of all football fans condemning this kind of thing, no matter which club it is (and you know we have our share).

We are in no position to take the moral high ground here. We have a small minority of our support that thinks that Munich/IRA chants are acceptable. It's embarrasing.................

The shit must have the most chavviest support going, smashing up concourses in Barnsley and at ours the other year, attacking women and old fellas who don't want to know, groping female stewards at Charlton etc, lowest of the low!!!!

No different to some of the Stoke fans who insist on singing Munich songs on the bus to the ground, even when we're not playing Manure

The media are all over this at the moment, so much so, they will be reporting on Stoke fans who sing the Munich chants at the weekend and do aeroplane jestures as is always the case at stoke (Even seen coming from exec boxes). So it might be worthwhile stopping and think about what your actions and songs are going to portray in the media.
While we are on the subject of chants, if you sing "we support our local team" then it will be nothing more than laughable given your attendance last night, as the attendance clearly shows, you dont actually support your team. As for glory hunters, how many did you take to the FA Cup semi and final?

"As for glory hunters, how many did you take to the FA Cup semi and final?"
I get your point, but at least the vast majority of them travelled more than 30 miles to get there...

How many did we take to the semi final and final?
Fully sold out allocations to both thanks, the VAST majority of which were season ticket holders.
As for our crowd last night, we have plenty of games coming up and crowds are down everywhere when compared to league games. The same is true of your Cup attendances as well.
It is all relative! If you can't accept that Manure have the biggest percentage of glory hunting no marks with no affiliation to the area in which you play your home games, then you are either blind, deaf, stupid or a combination of all 3.
See you Saturday!

I think you will find that those who do attend Stoke matches whether it be last night or at the weekend in fact DO support their local team where as YOU do not you fucking southern spunk monkey!!!

NO I for one was there so do support my local team as do the other 15k there last night, last night possibly shows who the real fans are (I know some cant go cos of work, expense etc) cos that attendance was the sort we got in the championship And how a man you fan can talk about other teams glory hunting is beyond me so there is nothing more to say on that matter

They deserve all they get. They think it is OK to taunt other clubs over disasters and to attack old, young and disabled fans outside their ground. But fuck me don't say anything about their great club. They are cunts from the board room to their slums in Essex. Bollox to them and their wank fans!

There's other games to save for and the early rounds of the Carling cup are gonna take a back seat.

(Utd fans actually pay more to go every utd Prem away game, than Stoke fans get charged due to the price structure for clubs who have category games). You wont do the early rounds of the Carling cup, but i bet you'd do the final if you get there. and how many tickets could each season ticket holder obtain for the FA Cup semi final? (Utd fans had 30,000 less tickets than we have season ticket/exec holders). The issue from the inital post was with regards to singing about tragedy. I dont condone what was sung last night by a section of Utd supporters and what leeds fans sung in return. But to see a thread on the matter from stoke fans, condemming utd fans is a tad hypocritical, given Stoke fans are amongst the worst for singing Munich songs of any clubs. you even sing it more than liverpool and Everton.

Concenrate on getting your own house in order before you point any fingers.

Wow. You are brilliant. A M*n u*d fan coming onto the board of likkle old Stoke. We look up to you and your fellow red devilish fans who travel from all over the world to see a club who regularly wins things. It must be great when you go on holiday and real fans see you in your red shirt and think wanker, sorry, I mean gosh, a m*n u*d fan, in the same street as me. This is as good as it gets. Anyroadup, we on this board all support Barcelona and pay a passing interest in Stoke. After all, I went to Spain on holiday once and so in my book, that makes me a local. Why is your user name not Red_musfc. The other wankers who come on as supposed manure fans always have a red and an underscore in their user name. Best of luck on Saturday if you are flying to the game.
