Glory hunting is an accepted mental illness suffered by inadequates who have no personality or talent and have to ally themselves only for the reflected glory.

How do you explain united having the biggest attendances in the country when in div 2 , a lot higher than stokes by the way, was it a bit cold for your fans last night?

As you say 50/50 Im against the mentioned chants from any team and thugs of any team, I have nothing against the genuine fans That said i dont think it was fair to come on here criticising our support, i was there last night and thats all i can do, some cant afford it or at work and some probably didnt see it as attractive and thats a shit excuse in my opinion

Fuck off, I got called a munich half a dozen times yesterday it's about time they got a bit back, dunno what your all trying to get involved for, Stoke sing Munich songs without any provocation, what's that all about? Your crowd was shit last night, where was everyone, considering you all 'support your local team' , shitbags the lot of you. After wasting a few seconds of my life reading the above post I have come to the following conclusion ... ... you're a cock

At Leeds they were singing songs about the Leeds fans murdered in Istanbul. Sickening. I know they would defend their bile by reminding everyone of the vile Munich chants directed at them for many years but does that make it right? hundreds of Leeds fans gathered near the away end before the match and were taunting shit fans with the Munich songs before the game. I'm not saying 2 wrongs make a right, but just letting you know all the facts. they are all a bunch of cunts

Some Leeds fans are scum, some Man U fans are scum and some Stoke fans are scum, its fact of life put tens of thousands of people of any cross section of society together and the majority will be decent people but a sizeable group will be c**ts.

When I went to Old Trafford in January , I saw allot off Man Utd fans with those Green and Gold (Norwich) scarfs but yet they were yet funding the owners by buying Man Utd merchandise and wearing Man Utd Tops ;D Unbelievable Oh and 40% off your stadium was full of Japs and Foreigners, that is a fact btw oh and you have millions and millions of fans across the world but I remember watching a Carling Cup game on Sky where you lot were vs wolves and the attendance was something like 52,000 ? That's 24,000 seats empty ? So stop being hypocrits

Hurrah! Another Manchester United supporter more interested in Stoke than his own team.
Enjoy your cup final on Saturday, try not to get too giddy about being able to watch highlights of 'your' team playing at the Brit on Match of the Day. I know it's like the cup final for Manchester United supporters, but you don't want to overdo it or you won't enjoy the occasion.

The media are all over this at the moment, so much so, they will be reporting on Stoke fans who sing the Munich chants at the weekend and do aeroplane jestures as is always the case at stoke (Even seen coming from exec boxes). So it might be worthwhile stopping and think about what your actions and songs are going to portray in the media. While we are on the subject of chants, if you sing "we support our local team" then it will be nothing more than laughable given your attendance last night, as the attendance clearly shows, you dont actually support your team. As for glory hunters, how many did you take to the FA Cup semi and final? its pricks like you who goad our pricks into makeing sickening chants, i wont join in munich chants but dont come on here trying to take the moral ground you clory hunting twat

Add to that the fact that most people directly affected by munich are probebley dead now while there is a good chance that the wives, kids and family of the lads who were killed in Turkey were there last night. I know who i think are the biggest cunts.

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same; then you are a Stoke City fan. The difference between normal football fans - for example those that support Stoke - and gloryhunters or as we know them - Man U fans - is that Man Utd win everything and have the best players. Therefore it is easy to support them. It doesn;t say a lot fotr their followers that they chose to support a team that never loses. Our point is that people that follow a team that wins everything are not real supporters; it is easy to follow a team that wins everything. How many games have united lost this season? None. Where is the hardship in that? Where is the metal in following a team that scores a hatful of goals every match. Where is the fun? If you know you are going to beat everyone that turns out against you, where is the enjoyment? You might as well follow the Harlem Globetrotters. It is the easy option. Supporting Stoke is more about guts and I would rather follow them than a team that wins everything hands down week in week out.

United are the first to moan like a bunch of bitches whenever opposition fans use the "M" word, but their club has quite happily been profiting from the disaster for years now.
Why the fuck they are so precious about it at this point is beyond me. No disrespect, but it's ancient history and the main reason it's still discussed is due to the clubs vile marketing of the situation at every opportunity.
Shit fans have always been a classless bunch of wankers, and last nights antics at Leeds just reaffirms the fact that they have no fucking reason at all to whine and complain about the abuse that is dished out to them by opposition fans. Not only did they spend almost the entire game mocking the deaths of Leeds fans in Istanbul but to top it off, they even unfrurled a fucking big banner. These are the same fans who think it's a bit of a laugh to chant about dead scousers on a regular basis and create Liverpool shirts with a number 96 on the back, accompanied by the words "not enough".
If they find it acceptable to display that kind of behaviour, why the hell would they be offended by a few chants regarding an age-old disaster that most of them were never around to witness? It's bollocks, they are just trying to cling on to this peice of United history in an effort to gain some creadability as being "united through and through" while knocking one off on the sofa while watching their "heroes" on telly in Essex.
Cunts, the lot of them.

Old Trafford holds 76000 people, of course there's some tourists who come, even if only half the stadium is local it's still more than Stoke. Stoke on Trent has a population of about 250,000 people. If the stadium is full, about 25,000 Stoke fans, that's about 10% of the population of the city. Manchester has a population of about 2.3 million people, nearly 10 times as many, and that doesn't even take into account the 9 million people who live in London. Say roughly 72,000 fans are 'home' fans, that's 3% of the population of Manchester. So proportionately, based on percentages, more than 3 times as many Stoke fans attend matches than Manchester United fans. Would Manchester united fill a stadium with a capacity of 230,000 people? Possibly? Who knows? So you see There's no point arguing the numbers game 'we have more fans than you', of course you do, your pool of people is much larger, and you have millions of fans who are only your fans because you have been very successful for the past 2 decades.

Do they even sell out most home games? I was under the impression that they're desperately flogging last minute tickets. Certainly when I was last there with Stoke there were plenty of empty seats in the highest tier of the near corner.
