Usual ticket office shambles. No tickets and no information.
Tickets for all three away legs should be on sale ASAP so that people can get sorted. It's not like it's a quick hop up the M6 at the last minute is it.

Just rang the ticket office and they said they still have no news on the ticket arrangements for the Kiev game yet. She said to keep watching the website for information which would be posted shortly. Told her I have flights and hotels booked, but she thats all she could say. flying out of Gatwick on Wednesday, back on Friday

419 ?
Wow, that would've set some pulses racing if a similar number had been announced just 9 days before Croatia or Switzerland.
I hope everyone with flights to Kiev get in.

I hope they manage to secure more than this for Tel Aviv. Jesus.

Hm. Well...
700 to Split: first match, summer, beaches, novelty, could get knocked out.
900 to Thun: closer, cheaper, still a novelty, could get knocked out.
419 tickets for Kiev: massive trek, not as much of a novelty, can't get knocked out, potentially more attractive matches in Israel and Turkey.
I reckon we'll only sell about 300.

Sell out easy I reckon for this one.

Post by AlanHansen on Sept 6, 2011 18:38:04 GMT
We may well only sell about 300 with no official flight. Chicken and egg.
Some people were saving themselves for the bigger group games as were three of the people going to Israel with me. There were also a lot of people either away on their annual holidays or just going or returning from them for the two qualifying games. Like me for Split.
We should be getting about 1,000 tickets for each game (more if they are available). If we don't sell them then so what.

Despite my prediciton of only 300 sold I'm still glad I forked out for my season ticket and Platinum Membership as I never thought we'd get an allocation as low as this.

If we do sell out, what about the poor buggers with flights and hotels booked. It's not a cheap doo.
We should know the packages and allocations now for all three games. If you delay you get stung. We paid £318 I think for a direct flight to Tel Aviv, the same flight is now £619!
Totally amateur.

Looks like we've asked for a small allocation: 14.08 All clubs in the UEFA club competitions must make at least 5% of the total capacity of their stadium available exclusively to visiting supporters, in a segregated, safe area. In addition, visiting clubs are entitled to purchase up to 200 top-category tickets (unless otherwise agreed between the two clubs in question) for their VIP supporters, sponsors, etc. (see Articles 16 and 23 of the UEFA Stadium Infrastructure Regulations and Article 19 of the UEFA Safety and Security Regulations). 14.09 Visiting clubs which have requested an allocation of tickets for the whole or part of the segregated area may return any unused tickets to the home club without payment up to seven days prior to the match, unless otherwise agreed by the two clubs in writing. After this deadline the visiting club must pay for the whole allocation, irrespective of whether all the tickets have been sold. www.uefa.com/MultimediaFiles/Download/Regulations/competitions/Regulations/01/62/69/60/1626960_DOWNLOAD.pdf
