Did you go the Split and Thun game Scouse? I didn't see you out there. I reckon the tickets will go on sale Monday morning, I can't see too many people being disappointed.

Reading between the lines, the delay in getting the tickets on sale is the reason that there is no official package. In turn the reason we have a third of the allocation we're entitled to. It seems we could have secured in excess of 1200 tickets, but as they are not on sale yet would/may have to pay for any unsold ones. The club therefore have bottled out and taken a lower allocation?
Chicken and egg. No official flight then people not confident of travelling under their own steam will not travel (in the main).
Fingers crossed that everyone booked up gets a ticket. In my case I hope Stoke get their bloody arses in gear for Tel Aviv.
Poor show.

I would expect us sell out our allocation, but I think it will take a couple of days to do so.

Has anyone for either Split or Thun used someone elses name on the form you have to give in? Considering using my mates platinum plus membership.

You have to fill a detailed travel form in. I doubt Stoke are simple enough not to spot that they don't match up.

AH, I'd beg to differ where the ticket office is concerned mate. I doubt they'd notice the difference if you put Mickey f****** Mouse on the form.

How about if you just put someone elses details including their passport number etc. Then you've got the ticket. Its not like they're going to check is it?

Well Den on the 'Greetings from Kyiv' thread seems to think even if we cant get tickets in the away end - they wont sell out in the home stands... so if you are booked up - obviously still go - we'll all get in im sure.
Very poor allocation though, I know of quite a few going this one, but then again - i know quite a few others who opted out of this one to go Tel Aviv & Besiktas. We'll see

Checked out some football attendances statistics on the internet, and strangely enough Dynamo Kiev´s home attendance is well below 10,000 in i stadium that can hold over 16,000. So even if the away allocation is only 419 I hope the stewards allow more away fans in to sections of the stadium next to the small 419-section. It would surprise me greatly if the game should be sold out!
There are 5 of us travelling from Sweden to see the game, and we´ve arranged with flights and accomodation, so we hope that this problem (which in the end might not be a problem at all, hopefully!) will be solved by the time we arrive at the ground.
And by the way, it might be a good idea to bring a raincoat or umbrella if there´s a risk of rain falling, as I could not see any roofs at all at the ground!
See you in Kiev!!

My ST was used to get a friend of mines mate, who is a villa fan, a ticket for the thun, used my passport number and details, got ticket, he used it to getinto the game no worries. I assume the only proble is if the passport number/name is on the ticket, and teh security at the ground ask you to prove the ticket is yours, your ticket and passport wouldn't match, that seems unlikely

Not sure if there's a mix re the scouse's Went both Split and Thun , for the others Kiev boxed off. Tel aviv flights booked , hotel still to sort . ..only slight pain is I've Lebonon ( independant tourist trip to Beruit , Tripoli , Sidon Tyre etc last year) and UAE ( for the friendly that was called off a few years back) stamp in my passport , so prepared for security process perhaps being a bit of a lengthy process...but hopfully no real problems Istanbul still to sort , so many options for that trip , including stopping enroute. Italy , yes no probs would go there..indeed will be anywhere and everywhere we might play..hopefully all the way to the final..waited 40 years for this ..Stoke in Europe and Liverpool and Everton nowhere
