That's right saw him at Mallorca on TV last season.
Will they play any Israeli music like 'A bani bi a bani ba' at the stadium? It robbed Ireland of a Eurovision win :-)
God damn you Alpha Beta and your 70s pop

Hi, welcome to the board, what do your fans think of the draw? were not realy happy, top clubs, but we can compete them, we won 3-0 Panathinaikos which is from the lvl of Besiktas and Dynamo. I think that's the thoughts of everybody in the group, difficult, but winnable.

It is, but isn't that the beauty of the Europa League? We might not get another chance in all honesty, but it does bring out a bit of glamour & as with our previous games gives us an insight into our challenges. Come on....who else was up to speed on Israel football prior to today?

forum.12p.co.il If I recall correctly it takes a while till the moderators authorize a new user because they are slow for some reason (well, it was like that when I registered but that was years ago) You ought to make an account and even open a thread, you'll receive lots of love! About that board - it is the forum of the 12th Player organization, one of 2 supporter groups Maccabi has. The forum is very big

We lack the experience which i hope doesn't come back and harm us. Can't wait!!1

Haha true, but I assumed you could use Google for the translation and write in English. You should see what Hapoel Tel-Aviv fans (our biggest rivals) did in the Besiktas forum which is in Turkish - Opened a thread in English wishing them lots of luck against us and said we support massacre in Gaza and other bullshit.

Tel-Aviv derby is one of the hottest matches in Europe, we hate them, they hate us. but sometimes their realy pathetic, acting like Anti-Israel, Anti-Everything fans.

Pretty much, yeah. Although we didn't win won in a long time But yes, they are very heated - As I said, lately we aren't doing so good - we haven't won a derby in almost 4 years, things are very bad. Hadn't won any title since 2003. This was our last derby win - But 2 years ago came this Canadian Jew who purchased our club, invested lots of money (in comparison to Israeli football standards) and we are getting back to ourselves. Maccabi is the biggest club in Israel, with the most titles in the history.

"Maccabi are Nazis" They're shameless... In European matches they have a flag saying - "We represent Hapoel and not Israel". Some of them are extreme leftists.

I have joined the forum, but won't allow me to post.
I won't be going to the Maccabi game though, most likely going to Turkey, but from the sounds of things on that forum, tel-Aviv fans are shitting it about going.
I hope they get a warm welcome here, as I'm sure they will.

Were not realy into going there, after the fights yestrday in Athens, Anti-Israel groups are all over Greece and Turkey, its actually realy dangerous, im not sure fans who will get there will come back alive, not because of Besiktas fans, their awesome and they got no politics involed, its because of palestinian organizations who took over Istanbul.

Nobody has an explanation... They're probably mentally ill or something. As you can see here, they're singing "Avi Nimni neo nazi ben zona". Avi Nimni is our greatest player of all times and a huge symbol of the club. You know what Neo-Nazi means and Ben zona is 'son of a bitch'. But enough about Hapoel, they really aren't interesting About Turkey - Some are afraid to fly there because of what happened with the flotilla last year, and the Turkey-Israel relations are pretty complicated right now. And if that isn't enough, after yesterdays match where Panathinaikos fans held Hammas and Hizbolla flags, there began a fight and the Greek fans ran towards our fans with knives. Out of all 3 away matches, Turkey is the cheapest but many many fans want to go to Stoke because it is the most attractive place to be out of all 3. Prices are a bit expensive but we hope to send many fans. I will be there for sure, hadn't decided yet about Turkey.

Good stuff from your lads in Amsterdam.
Although Stoke can make some noise it's just singing - we don't do fireworks, scarves and choreographed chants like all you guys across Europe and beyond.
Your boys will have a good time at The Britannia Stadium but there's nothing like Dam Square to party in before the game I'm afraid...
