Thin squad giving their all. Unbeaten this season, looking good for Europa qualification and only 1 goal conceded.
Tony will do right by this club, he wont buy stupid and waste money on players no better than what we have.
I read this message board with dismay. Unrealistic expectations and completely uncalled for criticism.

Agree, it shows how thin the squad is that Pulis was prepared to risk further injury to Pennant even though it seems they were aware that he was far from 100% before kick off. Add to that Norwich were going to be on a high, this being there first game at home since promotion, a point was a very good result.
Even though most of the pundits that I read before the game were giving the win to Norwich (not that I paid that much attention to that) I thought we would scrape a win there today, but I am not at all disappointed with the draw.

It is the anti Stoke/Pulis feeling I get from alot of the posters. Yes they are entitled to their opinions and I respect that, its the sincerity of them that amazes me. Alot of these people are genuinely incensed and annoyed by the current predicament - its incredible.
How can you not be happy on the whole ? Yes we need a bigger squad but that will come. In the meantime we are picking up results and I respect all involved for doing us proud.
I know its an old debate but maybe its the new breed of fan we have picked up in the last 4 years. I have been around a while and maybe my tolerance levels are better.

A point at old Trafford or Stamford bridge etc would be fantastic! A point against a very mediocre team that's of championship players is not fantastic!

They now think they are occupying the 'middle ground' and will deny they have any sort of agenda.

I imagine that giving Danny Pugh a contract extension along with similar for players who might not see this season out never mind two beyond that could be seen as a very poor use of the clubs cash as well as blocking up some of the maximum 32 first team squad and fringe positions the club has limited itself to. Perhaps some of the numpties have genuine concerns about the medium term direction or lack of it the management at the club are either planning or stumbling toward. Its a different opinion of course.

Fair point but put in context. that was there biggest game for 6 years. It was like a cup final to them and they were always going to raise there game. If we'd gone there in december then i would be slightly disapointed but its there first game at home in the big league so i'm happy with 1

I know he has been critical of some aspects but no more than the average supportr in the stands so surely the management are not getting that touchy? I'd be dissapointed if that was the case. I'll ask around

great point... all away points are great in fact, also all home points against the big four.
on that criteria we have made a good start to the season, not forgetting Europa success.
Keep this up and we will have a result this season, our biggest points will come from home games against teams around us, so far so good
keep the faith
;D

I'll ask around Something to do with the club's unhappy response following the P&G after the Liverpool defeat. I wonder if Gleghorn was the summariser that night? Only a rumour, though, so as always with Stoke rumours it could be rubbish.
