I think it's just recreational rioting.
Seems to be a smile on the faces of most of the rioters.
Always happens in August when the weather is nice and there are lots of youngsters on the streets with nothing to do and little to lose.
Like the wasps nests they will be gone by the first cold snap.

Police shooting of a young black armed drug dealer and the desire for free new trainers Because they are uneducated, worthless little cunts who want to lash out at the system by stealing TVs, although i'm sure they can stop lashing out at the system for 10 minutes tomorrow to go and get their giros that we provide for them.

Shitty parenting has caused it.....kids born from kids.....low life scummy family
And basically because they've seen nothing happens if they do.
There is no reasoning for their actions, there needs no dialog with this shit
Rubber bullets and battons should do the trick

There is no justification what so ever for looting, setting buildings on fire & attacking those of the emergency services. zero tollerence shoot on sight

It gives you a warm, cosy, patriotic glow watching the news at the moment doesn't it? My missus is a police officer. She got called in on her day off around teatime today. "ok, we're giving you a 2 year wage freeze and pissing about with your pension - but can you just drop what you're doing, stick your riot gear on and pop up to Manchester and get some bricks and fire bombs thrown at you? Wankers.

Afrojack the trigger for the riots was the police shooting and killing of a 29 year old black man, Mark Duggan. The mainstream media largely ignored the story other than a few articles online and the Daily Heil article here shows coverage at the time: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2022670/Gangster-Mark-Duggan-shot-police-London-cab-shootout.htmlAccording to the reporting at the time he was a 'gangster' who 'opened fire on the officers' and the police offer in question was only saved by his police radio which absorbed the bullet. ( As miraculously as if the radio had been a bible or a part of the true cross). However it has since emerged from the IPCC that Mark Duggan did not fire at police officers and the bullet lodged in the police radio was a police issue bullet: www.guardian.co.uk/uk/blog/2011/aug/09/london-riots-day-four-live-blog#block-78A largely peaceful protest of a couple of hundred people went to the police station demanding answers over his death, why his family had not been informed but had to find out via the media and why no counselling was offered. A 16 year old girl approached the police demanding answers and was hit with batons and riot shields. With several eyewitnesses corroborating these events: This is the catalyst of a long term crisis of ideology in the police force with: - The 'Hackgate' phone hacking scandal exposing how corrupt and venal the police are with the departure of the commissioner and deputy commissioners of the Metropolitan police.
- Insituitonal racism with black people being 26 times more likely to be stopped and searched.
www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2010/oct/17/stop-and-search-race-figures
- Increasing police brutality without justice for victims both inside and outside of police stations. 333 people have died in police custody between 1998 and 2011 without a single officer being convicted of a crime.
www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2010/dec/03/deaths-police-custody-officers-convicted
- Victims outside of police stations such as: Blair Peach, Kevin Gately, Jean Paul de Menezes and Ian Thomlison have all been killed without any police officers brought to justice. Also in the recent student demos Alfie Meadows was nearly killed. He only survived after a 9 hour brain operation (which the police tried to stop him getting at Charing Cross hospital since they wanted only the police to be treated there) and is currently being charged with Violent disorder for presumably headbutting a police baton.
The wider context is that this is taking place during a crisis of capitalism with the net result of bailing out the banks and 'austerity' being that: There is record youth unemployment of 20% being unable to find a job, just under 1 million young people. In Tottenham, where Mark Duggan was killed, there are 55 people chasing every vacancy. Across country there 3 million unemployed in total. The government wants to sack 1.4 million workers in the next 3 years. There are 400,000 job vacancies nationally most of these are not real jobs just temporary, some unpaid or voluntary. Education is no longer affordable for many young people with: 800, 000 FE college places are being cut, EMA scrapped, tuition fees trebled to £9,000 a year, child tax credits cut, libraries being closed, leisure centres privatised, schools privatised the list goes on. In summary many young people in Britain have: no jobs, can't afford an education, they have no future and no fear. Coupled with an increasingly brutal and repressive police force which kills with impunity, attacks, harasses and criminalizes young people who feel powerless to react then it is understandable why some feel like rioting is the only recourse for getting their voices heard. The bankers are the real looters they stole £23000 for every man, woman and child to bail out the banks which is far more than than all the smashed shop windows, trainers and laptops looted in the past few days. The Tories and the bankers are responsible for far more anarchy, destruction and devastation than the riots of the past few days.

Capitalism isn't working: Another world is possible... Nah Funny video. However I have never defended the Soviet Union or Stalin. 'Socialism' or 'Communism' has never existed contrary to what certain rulers and/or countries claim. The closest anywhere has come was Russia 1917-1923 under Lenin but which then became isolated and disintegrated when the German revolution of 1919 failed. P.S. Capitalism doesn't seem to be faring much better at the moment with soaring unemployment, rising inequality, endless war, racism, sexism and increasing resistance through strikes, riots and revolutions worldwide.

I got bored as a kid but instead of wrecking peoples lives, we went and bought a £2.99 football that entertained us for hours, without the need to throw petrol bombs. Why? Because we were bought up to respect other people and their property, to accept and respect authority and that if we wanted anything in life, we had to earn it. They are the shit of society and it is time we told them to fuck off, stop breeding and support themselves.

Because we were bought up to respect other people and their property, to accept and respect authority and that if we wanted anything in life, we had to earn it. They are the shit of society and it is time we told them to fuck off, stop breeding and support themselves. Take a bow mate!!!! Some of these chavvy scumbags being interviewed tonight should be exterminated on the spot.

And all of this justifies them burning peoples houses down, attacking innocent people, destroying businesses, stealing property and wrecking peoples cars? There are people homeless and out of work because of these 'people'. All these excuses are bollocks. They are filthy little ferel bastards, who have grown up in (labours) softly softly, no discipline and plenty of handouts society, products of scummy parents who don't give a shit. They have the same oppotunities as the majority of the country. All kids get the same education from 5 to 16, if they choose not to do the best they can ad the parents choose not to push them work hard then fuck them. I never said that the problems that I explained 'justified' rioting and I have never said that I 'condone' it either. However from what I seen nearly all the damage done to cars and businesses will be recouped through insurance companies. I personally don't know of anyone made homeless through the riots and if they are they have my full support and sympathy. "filthy little ferel bastards, who have grown up in (labours) softly softly, no discipline and plenty of handouts society," I presume you haven't realised that the UK under NuLabour actually became a more authoritarian, 'tougher', harsher and more unequal society. The number of people in prison in the UK doubled from ~40,000 in the early 90s to ~85,000 now. The UK has the highest incarceration rate in Western Europe. We incarcerate more children and have more children (people under 18) on life sentences than any other country in Western Europe. In UNICEF surveys the UK comes bottom of countries in the developed world for 'child well-being.' news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/6359363.stmThis might, just might, have something to with: demonizing kids, criminanlizing kids by handing out ASBOs like confetti, having the lowest age for criminal responsibility in the world, a police force which beats, harasses and nearly kills them with impunity and a culture which describes these kids as "feral" (not 'ferel' btw) and "the shit of society." Also not "all kids get the same education from 5 to 16" since educational outcomes are largely determined by class and parental wealth, not schooling or teaching. Cameron and co.'s kids will have access to the finest private schools, tutors and elite private universities that money can buy. Poor working class kids from some of the deprived areas in Britain cannot dream of having these opportunities. I am happy for you that you did not feel the need to participate in the riots. However, whilst you were playing with your son and the £2.99 football I wonder if you spared a thought for what your son's future will be like. Will your son be able to afford the £35,000 debt he will graduate in after uni to get a degree? Will he ever afford a house, a pension and what type of healthcare will he get once the NHS is privatised? Won't your son be getting a smaller and smaller wage, working longer, harder for less whilst the Tories, Bankers, Cameron and the 'Chipping Norton set' bask in unprecedented wealth? What about your grand-kids? Won't it all be EVEN worse for them?

What about your grand-kids? Won't it all be EVEN worse for them? What have the bankers etc got to do with this situation? This situation is caused by scum who have grown up in a world where getting some bint knocked up and claiming the maximum benefits is a career choice. The government happily continue to give these handouts to anyone. Got 6 kids, fuck it here you go have £2k a month. The fact that you make no effort to teach these kids right and wrong is irrelevant. Where if you want a mobile phone or laptop, you don't save up for it, you pick up a knife and you just take it off someone else. Mum and Dad never worked for anything so why should little Kevin. And the speed at which these 'families' grow is accelerated as they are producing the next wave of wasters even before theyre able to legally buy a pint. As for my kids (i have two daughters not a son), i am already saving for them to give them a start in life. It wont be easy if they want to go to uni, but we are trying to make it a little easier. When we decided to have our second, we sat down and worked out if we could afford it, how we would pay for things, what would happen if one of us lost our job. If we hadnt been able to afford another child, we wouldnt have had one. There are to many people who just say 'i want a kid, some one else will pay', or even worse 'i want a PS3, i'll have a kid and the benefits will pay for it'. The free money for all culture needs to stop. Why, after 4 nights of trouble were there kids aged 10 on the streets? Because the parents dont give a fuck enough to keep them in. It has nothing to do with the banks, the police, the government, the lack of oppotunities blah blah blah. It is down to shit people having kids.
