He'll play in the final.
Mind games i reckon. Just a ploy to ensure that he gets rested and doesn't risk an even more serious injury.
Well, i hope so anyway.

Rest assured Matty you are currently receiving Reiki healing energies from me and the missus
You will play at Wembley and be doing the lap of honor afterwards for certain.

It'd be a shame if we got to the biggest stage we've ever reached and not got all our "flair" players out there.
With Ethers and Pennant in full flow and Walters and KJ bang in form we can beat 'em.
With Delap on the left we'll really struggle.

The Etherington, Etherington running down the wing as he was being carried off was so loud, hope it made it though the pain he was obviously in as he held his hands to his face.....South stand were loud and proud (probably best in teh last 3 years I've sat there) to drown out those disgraceful wolves fans

Best that can be said is that Dave Kemp sounded hopeful in a radio interview this morning & given the official position is normally more pessemistic than is really the case, its sounds like he has a better than 50/50 chance of making it. Hope so.

Certainly won't hurt to keep Man City guessing up to kick off. I know this is the wisdom and may waste some preparation, but I can't help thinking it provides a last minute lift for the oppo when the teams are announced.

I don't understand the above! Anything put out on the web or in email is in the public domain and therefore no subject to censorship or copyright? So long as you don't claim it as your own work. You have every right to copy and paste.

No - you are allowed 'fair use', taking in part and giving credit to the source. Wholesale copying is plagiarism and not to be encouraged.
Better to provide the link to the source.

As you say if you credit the source and don't claim it as your own it would be almost impossible to make a case in a court of law.

It's not always about 'making a case' - it's about doing the decent & right thing. And also more importantly - this web site not getting a reputation for plagiarism which can cause problems with hosts, Google & such like.

It's just basic decency really, and we've been contacted by a couple of newspapers asking us to keep an eye on it. This is the Sentinel's and Michael Baggaley's' work and shouldn't just be stolen to put on a message board.
The Sentinel also offer their website free of charge and rely on advertisers to keep it going. They can only continue in that manner if people visit their site and they get hits, and that won't happen if people are just going to copy and paste big stories like this onto other websites.
Hope that clears it up?

Right - the Twitter from Graeme Bailey is his opinion - not an official statement. GraemeBailey Graeme Bailey @ mumphlt 'Its fact he has a tear in his hamstring. Stoke say he has a chance, but they are kidding themselves IMO' - Shoddy fucking journalism.

Look - all of the stories you are reading are based upon what Kemp said yesterday. That story then is reported via various web sites each giving their spin and opinion. The stories get picked up on news aggregating sites & such and then another game of Chinese whispers begins.
What do you think has happened to Etherington's leg since Kemp's 'official' statement yesterday?

However if papers do put stuff out there for free they can not get too prescious about it. Anyway we should respect others and our local papers so I guess there is no real argument here

It isn't free though is it. They pay for the content and though you read it 'free' they have to be paid somehow - by being able to generate revenue through advert which comes down to site traffic. If they don't get revenue they can't pay journalists, editors etc and then you won't have content to read.

If you put anything on the web it is in the public domain end of. However if you read my post I'm in agreement that we should not abuse the fact it is "FREE TO VIEW". A link is far better than copy and paste but there is no law to stop you thats all. I have not missed the point and I'm not being stupid.
