It's not always about 'making a case' - it's about doing the decent & right thing. And also more importantly - this web site not getting a reputation for plagiarism which can cause problems with hosts, Google & such like. I never plagiarise anything! All the rubbish I post on here is entirely my own work!

It isn't free though is it. They pay for the content and though you read it 'free' they have to be paid somehow - by being able to generate revenue through advert which comes down to site traffic. If they don't get revenue they can't pay journalists, editors etc and then you won't have content to read. I mean free to view on the web. If you put anything on the web it is in the public domain end of. However if you read my post I'm in agreement that we should not abuse the fact it is "FREE TO VIEW". A link is far better than copy and paste but there is no law to stop you thats all. I have not missed the point and I'm not being stupid. Theoretically the Sentinel could sue this website under copyright law. There is technically a law that stops you.

a couple of years ago a torn hamstring would have 100% ruled him out of the final. but with modern treatment i believe their is a possibility of matty being fit enough to make the final? i think its only a slight chance, but there is a glimmer of hope. so i am keeping everything crossed. good luck matty. p.s. what a bunch of wankers the wolves fans were on tue night! and b4 anyone says if the roles were reversed we would have done the same i think not. i have witnessed opposition players being applauded down stoke when carried off. obviously we have more class

I haven't accused you of being stupid and I haven't contradicted you over the issue of providing the link rather than CnP. All I've done is to point out that your belief that things posted on the internet are 'in the public domain end of' and therefore available to freely copy is incorrect. If you got paid for creating copy you might see things differently. gizmodo.com/#!5681714/attention-the-web-is-not-public-domain The point is - which I agree with you on - is that a link is best, credit source & fair use is 'OK' but thinking the internet is for free use public domain is wrong.

so can you copy and paste an article but end it with 'love from the sentinel' Does that count as acknowledging the source?

You wonder why they're bothering to get peoples hopes up by suggesting he could make it ? is it a ploy to keep Man City guessing ?.
Has there ever been a case where a player has returned so quickly from a hamstring tear ? I don't suppose anyone knows the answer to that one.

This article, ironically on a man city site, says that a grade one tear can heal between 7-10 days, but there has been no mention of what grade Etherington suffered, so we're left guessing, surely it has to be a grade 1 if they're even suggesting he might make it ??? .... i know, i'm clutching straws www.mcfc.co.uk/news/features/2011/february/inside-the-injury-hamstring-tearInvestigation: There are three grades of muscle tear: grade one, where there is swelling around the muscle fibres but they haven’t been pulled apart. This takes seven to 10 days to recover from. [/blockquote]

John Acres reported this morning that it was a grade 2 tear but located such that it favoured quicker healing Ek That's consistent with what Pulis said - because the tear is in the middle of the muscle it gets a better blood supply and so may heal quickly. The website quoted above says this about a grade 2 tear: "Sometimes these can progress to the next grade though which is grade two, where the fibres have been pulled apart but they haven’t completely ruptured. These are the most common hamstring tears and take anything from two to six weeks recovery time depending on the type of tear. "

Right - the Twitter from Graeme Bailey is his opinion - not an official statement. GraemeBailey Graeme Bailey @ mumphlt 'Its fact he has a tear in his hamstring. Stoke say he has a chance, but they are kidding themselves IMO' - Shoddy fucking journalism. Exactly - Arrogant Wanker. SGT
