That was my first impression. Stretcher was called for straight away and Fuller's face said it all I thought. Was a kick straight on the achilles.

Looked in a lot of discomfort. Will be gutting if he misses the Cup Final.
People like him and Higgy really deserve the day.

He was holding his shin wasn't he? yeah but Fuller holds his face if he gets kicked up the arse let's not forget. Fingers Xed is nowhere near as bad as it looked.

The Doc said 'Achilles' to Ric (if my lip reading is any good) and Ric threw his head back in despair.
Let's hope it hasn't gone completely.

Hope it's not as serious as it looks, it would be a big blow not to have him for the cup final but if it is his Achilles I cant see him back for the final.

Tragedy if he's done his achilles, especially for a 31-year-old forward who relies on his pace and movement Could be the end for him Potentially a heartbreaking end for a true legend.

Sorry to type it, but, that may well be the last we see of Fuller playing in a Stoke shirt.

Well, if the achilles is confirmed, he won't be leaving in the summer, will he?
Just hope he returns as the same player.

The one thing we really didnt need today was an injury though I suppose it could have been Ethers or Pennant
Come on Ric - We need you back for Wembley

Just spoke to Etherington outside Villa Park. He confirmed torn achilles and Ric out for the season. He seemed really down and said the lads are all gutted for him.

Genuinely gutting news. Guess the worst case scenario is very bleak on this one now. 5-6 months out potentially, and who knows if he'll ever be the same And what a blow not having Ric to chuck on after 75 minutes at Wembley!

That's football. But as the saying goes, 'As one door cloes, another door opens'. Get well soon Ric. Love you, mate.

Terrible news. He looked really sharp when he came on today too - he would have got increased game time during the run in, I'm sure. At least Kenwyne and Walters are bang in form. Can't afford another injury to a flair player though.
