I refuse to write him off. By all medical accounts he should find walking difficult at the best of times. I hope it's not a bad one, but there's something indestructible about the man. Hope you're right mate.

If that is true it is strange that the Official site says it is an achilles injury.

Walking back from the ground earlier after the game after the coaches dropped us off , walking back to Clayton ( we go through the woods by the training ground) we saw fuller getting in his car , walking perfectly fine by the way got in his car and gave me the thumbs up , he didn't look injured , I think it is only a knock he should be back in Red and White by Saturday A knock? No-one touched him

If Ric has ruptured his achilles, he wouldn't have been driving his car last night.
If this sighting is indeed true, lets hope that this is good news.
He has looked really sharp coming off the bench of late and we need him as a game changer. We need him from the start in my opinion, but that is a discussion that has been held many times over already.

Hopefully it's just a tatical ploy by TP into thinking that Ric won't be available for the final than BOOM he comes on and tears the Man City back four a new arse hole. Here's to dreaming

But nobody touched him so it definitely wasn't a knock. We all hope that it's not as bad as it looked and he will be OK soon but the bit about getting a bad knock on his achilles was definitely bollocks.

Also... It says on the official website he was sent for a scan - would that scan have been done that quickly for him to travel back with the team and then drive home ???

Don't know about other types of achillies injuries..... but I think it is correct to say that it isn't necessary for a scan if there was a rupture.

Why wouldn't it be necessary? How else would you know... and I'm just going on what the official website says.

If it is the achilles you may be right rigsby, i snapped mine completely and missed a whole cricket season, but i was fine the following season. It would be a terrible way to finish a great players career

Sentinel don't have anything official - but they call it a "serious achilles tendon injury" and say he's "likely" to miss the cup final.
Pulis says Fuller said "it popped" as he landed.
