without prejudice...
a few years ago i was 'lucky' enough to be in the directors box and sometimes boardroom for sandwiches on a weekly basis at a cheshire-based football team, as the company i worked for were the main sponsors...
trust me, everything that you have heard is nothing compared to just what a horrible man the bloke is, in my own personal opinion.
once (allegedly) the matchday sponsors chose the man of the match that had been brought off after about 75 minutes to a chorus of boos (as the crowd wanted him to stay on)....and the manager came in and called the match day sponsors all manner of the worst kinds of swear words in front of their partners (there may have been kids there too, cant remember). i believe that they pulled out all sponsorship from that day...
the financial director at the time and we as the team sponsors had to leave such was the embarrassment...
i was a bit careful with how i wrote that...just in case...

Did anyone see the pictures of the protests at their last home game?
One of them had a pig mask on- what the hell's that about?
(Unless it wasn't a mask, and he was one of the better looking Fail fans...)

Stoke-on-Trent's family club really does seem to be imploding on a grand scale at the moment.
It appears players, fans, and other members of the coaching staff seem as if they do not want to work under the management of Jim Gannon and so Gannon has dropped certain players from the squad and he has replaced them with players that are not as good so performances/results are dropping.
One player on loan from Peterborough United a Exodus Geohagen has been the subject of huge amounts of vitriol from the family club's support, so much so that the player totally lost it yesterday and ugly scenes occurred at Accrington where words were exchanged and feloow players had to restrain Geohagen. Also Geohagen's girlfriend was in tears due to the incident. (And people wonder why Stoke don't loan them any of our young players.)
Fans after the match have apparently surrounded the team coach and Gannon was forced to go and hide within the ground last night due to the animosity from the soap-dodgers.
Some of the more respected and loyal supporters of the Vagrants waited to speak to members of the board after the game. One of these supporters told the board members that if there is no change that he and has family of six would not be renewing their season tickets and would be watching Leek Town instead. The board member replied "good".
The feel good factor must be great down Burslem on matchdays. I bet it's like a scene from the middle ages, pitchforks at the ready!

Fans after the match have apparently surrounded the team coach ... Either you don't understand the meaning of the word, "surround" or you meant to put "mini bus"

I think Vale fans really need to address the issue of us being in the Premier League whilst they are in the bottom tier.
I remember seeing the videos of the Glover protests and in .interviews with Vale fans they kept referring to Stoke.

I remember seeing the videos of the Glover protests and in .interviews with Vale fans they kept referring to Stoke. They are as close to Newcastle Town as they are to us in footballing terms. Perhaps they would be better turning their attention to them. The fan base is roughly the same size ;D

Looks like there is a thread on OVF but I think the site is about to go into meltdown.
In all honesty it's the best outcome for Vale although I'd be surprised if the snivelling gobshite resigns. I'd have thought he'd wait to be sacked and agree a payout.
