Tuncay was simply just part of our current policy of ridding out our best players and replacing them with over-the-hill dross ala Pugh and Whelen.

exactly what i was thinking, we had something different with him and abit of a plan B. now we have absolutely fuck all with just 1 plan hoofball to carew/jones nothing in midfield and even playing to midfielders in defence. we just have no creativity without tuncay.

This team is making Tuncay look like Messi.
What's more annoying is that some people don't miss him and that how we're playing is ok! [angry face]

As little as Tuncay did in his spell (in comparison to peoples comments implying he was some sort of Messi V2..), we're missing someone, like him, with an ounce of a creative brain and ability when going forward

Yeah Tunny was a different player which is always good for a forward line. Frustrating thing was that there was no reason he couldn't fit into Stoke's style of player. He could have played the Fuller role or the free role just behind the target man.

Baron, the reason he didn't fit it with Pulis is because they had different ideas of how to play football. Tunny probably voiced his anger/frustration with all the hoofing that goes on. Did you know if a player shows a bit of skill I.e backheels and flicks, Pulis FINES them for showboating!

Selling him and not replacing him has proven to be the wrong decision.

Selling him and not replacing him has proven to be the wrong decision. I agree, although I don't think he would even have made the bench today.

I thought we'd to alright without him but christ on a bike I was wrong.
We've reverted to the ugly, ugly one dimensional wankery that we hoped we wouldn't see again.

The best thing about tuncay apart from his footballing ability, right now...is that atleast with him in the squad fuller could start matches without pulis shitting himself that he hasn't got a game changing player on the bench.

I haven't a clue because my thoughts on the team don't match up with Pulis' at all. I don't know what he's doing, I don't know why he's doing but I know it's fucking us over. Bego Wilko Shawcross Huth Higgi Pennant Delap Whitehead Ethers Fuller Carew How fookin' hard is it? Really? We should have kept Tuncay and then we have someone with a bit creativity for the wing when Ethers and Pennant are inevitably injured. And have a good option from the bench for up front. TP has lost his marbles.

TONY PULIS' TREATMENT OF TUNCAY HAS BEEN SOME OF THE WORST DECISION MAKING OUR CLUB HAVE EXPERIENCED IN ITS ENTIRE HISTORY. Why, what happened?......Do you know anything behind the scenes then?. He used to leave him on the bench every week, humiliated him on sky tv, gave him verbal abuse from the touchline every time he wasnt getting stuck in snapping opposition players' legs, and worst of all...sold him.

what did tuncay actually do? when he came on he was selfish and just ran around like a headless chicken. We've been waiting for the first clown to say 'headless chicken' so well done flower Tuncay offered spirited and creative performances that we desperately need right now amist a very sluggish squad, unless you know of another team member equally as passionate right now
