Oh how the mighty have fallen....
Having said that, an ideal player for Blackpool and one which could see them retain their Premier league status at a time when some may question if they're starting to lose their bottle a little.
If he can do at Blackpool what he did at Stoke then the tangerines are staying up again.

It must've cost him a fair bit to get a chauffeur driven crane from Glasgow to Blackpool.
Fat bastard.

Loyalist I concur.
He kept us in the prem but people have very short memories on here and seem to recall towel incidents over important goals like his against Pompey/Citeh/West Brom etc.
He made us alot of money in us retaining our Premier league status and for that I'll always be a little grateful regardless of his fat arse or his bitch strops.

In saying that I think he has almost given up on his career and I can't see him doing much at Blackpool after how poorly he's done at Rangers.

Well before he signed for us wasn't confident that we had anyone who could score the goals to keep us up. he then had a superb month or so where he looked like he'd score in every game.
During this time he/we and th epress even tipped him for a return to the England fold.
I would put his goal against Man Citeh in our first season in the Prem as one of the most importantt goals of our Premier league history, along with Shawcross' v Boro in that same season. Two goals that were very importnat to our season.
All goals are importnat bu that one Beattie scored against Citeh was a special one on a special atmospheric day at the Brit.
Someone's avatar on here of him and Tommy S at the final whistle of that game says it all really.

I think it could be the move that revives his career - small club so not much pressure, but a team that will ALWAYS create chances for him.
