.......according to McGarry on the 12 o'clock sports bulletin.
"Ricardo Fuller and Shola Ameobi may be the partnership that's got Stoke fans' mouths watering - but it might not happen on Monday night, according to Tony Pulis. Pulis is likely to stick with Richard Cresswell in attack"
??? ???

If Pulis is hinting that Cresswell will stay in attack then Fuller will almost certainly be starting. He likes to play these games.

Maybe he's thinking of bringing on Fuller as a super sub a la Wolves.

Might be a bluff! Probably not

Just hope he's playing mind games. However he does seem reluctant to drop Cresswell.

there's absolutely NO WAY that Pulis won't play Shola, someone who he managed to get old Coatsey to fork out half a mil plus for 6 games.
That leaves Fuller, can't see Cressie starting in front of him, plus theres no space on the left wing now if Pearson plays.

I hope Cresswell is rested personally. Shola and Fuller for me, with Lenny and Pearson on the wings, that's a right lot to deal with.

Just Radio Stoke with it's usual bollocks.
Fuller and Shola will start.
How the fuck can they get this info 3 days before the match...... ;D

There's always the chance it's a bluff, or just him muddying the waters by playing his cards close to his chest.
But it sounds like there was a little hint that Fuller is set for one of his supersub jobs after his lay-off.
Still think that'd be crazy. Surely you need your best players who are most likely to score or create a goal on for every second you possibly can?

I wouldn't mind if Shola was dropped , but Ric ?!?

Didn't Pulis hint at this recently when questioned on Fuller. He replied that Ric had been back to Jamaica and we'll have to see how he is.

Anyone in their right mind would play Amoebi and Fuller from the start, and I doubt ANYBODY in the ground would do otherwise. Which leads me to confidently predict a Cresswell/Amoebi being selected by Pulis.

We'll see what happens, but i'd put Fuller on even if he was 80 % fit, has a big effect on our team, more mentally than anything.

Fuller against CLint for the last half Hour would be quite intresting!
Hopefully it won't watter who starts as we win 6-0!

Fuller as supersub has worked in the past. Ideally he should start, but it wouldn't necessarily be a disaster.

There's no bigger fan of Fuller than Pulis, is there? He loves him as much as the next man and wants little baby Ricardos.
But we all know he is prone to chuck in the odd contrarian, baffling selection every now and again to try and prove how great he is.
And to be fair, leaving Fuller out hasn't backfired on him at all.....SO FAR.
But surely it's common sense that it's better to have your talisman, who can do things that no-one else at the club can do, on the pitch for 90 minutes as opposed to 30 minutes?
If we're still in need of a bit of Fuller magic after 60-65 minutes against a tiring defence, obviously the first hour won't have panned out as well as it could've had he been on from the start - with 90 minutes to produce one or two moments of class?

This is absolutely outrageous if true!!!! How can he even consider starting Cresswell when he has two forwards who could rip Palace, and potentially any other side in this division, aprt on their own!!!!!!!!
Surely this is a wind-up - Fuller and Ameobi have to start - they both would have nodded that Cressy chance away for 2 nil at Wednesday last week whilst having a cuppa!! We need the ball in the net - TONE I RATE YOU BUT PLEASE DONT GAMBLE OUR SEASON AWAY HERE!!!!!!!

Did Pulis actually say that Cresswell might start or did the sports genius McGarry assume this ?
This is the fella who pronounced Ajax the same as the scouring powder when we signed Hoekstra don't forget. No news on Radio Stoke usually means invent a story.

Tony's mind games. The Cresswell knockers though would do well to remember that he scored two at Palace earlier this season.

Cresswell has weighed in with goals and not a knocker myself- from playing in a foreign position has got a good goal return. Let's not forget so many used that as an excuse why the hot shot Greenacre couldn't score. If he starts then ok- just curious as if to this was another of McGarry's assumptions which he seems so good at getting wrong or did Pulis hint at Cresswell starting?
'according to Tony Pulis. Pulis is likely to stick with Richard Cresswell in attack'
So Pulis is giving Radio Stoke team news 3 days ahead of a game......not so sure

Wouldn't be suprised if Cresswell and Ameobi start, Fuller usually comes off the bench when he's had a ban.

Tony's mind games. The Cresswell knockers though would do well to remember that he scored two at Palace earlier this season. True- but the Cresswell rimmers would do well to remember he has been nothing short of wank for the last few weeks.

So if you don't knock the manager or a player you're a 'rimmer' are you
Pretty disturbing what some folk think about ???

Personally I think Fuller should be on from the start.
A far more worrying thread title would be "Pulis likely to stick with Griffin at right back".
Now that would be crazy on recent form!
