Getting excited and a bit nervous now. How did you get on at physio? hope it's good news. :-) I am going down to the expo on the Thursday before as it's Easter holiday and I got cheap train tickets, hopefully a nice day in London before the madness of the weekend. Got my Wembley ticket so will be running with it hoping to get there in time. Fi was very painful, drained my quads and abductors of lactic acid and then had acupuncture, should know in a couple of days once it's all calmed down turned out it was done by Ian Griffths, ex pro footballer in the 80's, at lower league, Tranmere, Vale, Wigan, and Rochdale where Jimmy Greenhoff was the manager.

Sounds horrid!! Sending you good recovery vibes, let us know how it goes. Fi still not right got it bandaged and supported and had a massage last night, painful but she got rid of some hard lumps of lactic build up, going for a swim this morning to see how that fares out I know of two people who have pulled out through injury, I'm determined not to be the 3rd

Northwich, Fingers crossed for you, I hope you can make it. There are people in my running club with injuries who are just hoping to be ok on the day and having to re-adjust their time goals.
Did you get your Wembley ticket ok?

We are going down to Suffolk on Monday - Friday, I've booked in a for a physio session on Tuesday near to where we are staying, and the guy is called James Potter ;D I'll just have to see what it's like on Friday when I go to register, if OK I'll have to re-adjust the timings and hope to get to Wembley

Hopefully the physio can work some magic. If you have to slow down a bit you will probably still beat me, and I am not giving up on getting to Wembley, so you will get there too! Best of luck. When I know what 'pen' I'm in I will let you know, hopefully see you at the start.

I'm dosed up with Iboprofum and smothered in icy gel, would have been easier to go for a pint in December when the draw was going on for the entry place ;D

8 mile run seemed very easy today (as it should I suppose) despite the warmer weather, hoping it is much cooler again by next weekend though. Had so much more Sunday left after running than I have for weeks and weeks! :-)
I have been looking at tube routes to Wembley from the finish, Green Park underground near the finish has tube trains running every 3 to 4 minutes to Wembley Park, the journey time is 26 mins. I don't know how long a taxi would take as I am guessing traffic will be bad on the day, looking at google maps it is nearly 10 miles.
