Ain't knocking Tone, but let's stop the Jizfest - we ain't won nowt yet. WHAT ABOUT THAT SMALL THING CALLED PROMOTION THAT HAS CHANGED OUR CLUB BEYOND RECOGNITION IN THE LAST 3 YEARS

Breaking the transfer record really doesn't count for much IMO - its only because the money in football is ridiculous, If I were manager I'd have broken the record as well.

Well if the daft bastard starting going to the Isle of Man rather than Austria pre season, we could start racking up some silverware.

When he joined the record was Ā£650k for Gunnarson, this was far to low for a club of our stature, it was broken with Sammy B, but Pulis didn't break it until Carl Cort.
As mentioned above, he's changed the club beyond all recognition, lets not complain that he's spent a few quid doing that

Promotion obviously great, let's not get over exuberant because we turned over Woy et Co. Hopefully we can get some consistency & keep the battling spririt (players & Fans) to achieve something tangible.

I think the sequence of binary 1-0 games must be a record way back in the early days!!

Of course promotion counts, but don't forget the financial acumen of Peter Coates in all this.

Promotion obviously great, let's not get over exuberant because we turned over Woy et Co. Hopefully we can get some consistency & keep the battling spririt (players & Fans) to achieve something tangible. Playing and beating the likes of Liverpool instead of Leicester is tangible. Away games at Old Trafford instead of the New Denn is tangible. Signing an established premiership Kenwyne Jones for Ā£8m instead of loaning him at 20 odd for 8 games is tangible. A trophy is something to strive for but teams who have been here a lot longer are yet to get one themselves. A trophy wouldn't just be success, it would be an outstanding success in this day and age. I'd say much harder than 10 years ago, never mind 38. So we should take every opportuinity to praise the club actually.

It's obvious that because Tony Waddington brought a trophy back to Stoke on Trent he pips Tony Pulis. But to say the man has done nothing when as some one said further up, he transformed this club beyond all recognition in a matter of seasons is probably talking the man down... come on FAF, bring yourself to admit that the 2nd most successful manager in Stoke City's history is doing rather well. Especially when put into the context of his era.

Not only does it appear that Tony Pulis has turned FROMAFAR into a sour faced comedian due to what he's achieved but is it also true that FROMAFAR'S not EVER once been a Stoke match?.
I ask because it's been mentioned several times that he hasn't. Could anyone be so kind as to shred some light on this please because afterall his head does seem kinda messed up after what Pulis has gone on to achieve?.
Thank you in advance.

And when start getting more wins on a consistent basis, lets talk again about how good Pulis is

Was last season a fiasco as well?
