from most stoke city fans at your treatment.the fact you werent even put on the bench before an overweight icelandic here for the money player, and a clearly out of his class championship player [walters] is beyond me. tony pulis you must put aside personnal differences and give THE TEAM every chance of winning. when tuncay comes on he works hard, too hard sometimes, but he makes things happen. i fear gudjohnsen will be a huge waste of cash

How can Tuncay be told he wasnt 'Stoke City fit' then we play a clearly not remotely fit EG ?
I dont like favouritism and it makes no sense UNLESS the Tuncay siging was not a TP one ?

Apologies to Tuncay? What a load of bollocks. Apologies from Tuncay for the £35/£40k per week from SCFC? Apologies for the disrespectful walks down the tunnel? Apologies to his "team" mates not staying to watch when sub'd or not picked? Apologies for running around aimlessly "most" times and not playing for the "team"? Missing sitters?
Let's see when he gets a game with the other fringe players on Tuesday against Fulham.
He needs to make a worthwhile contribution during the whole match instead of chasing shadows.
Apologies - unbelievable. If you do not believe in what TP sees then perhaps you would prefer us back in Division 2 playing Port Vale/Stockport etc

While I love Tuncs, you don't speak for the 'majority' of Stoke fans. I put my faith in BKP, and that it will sort out very quickly. THanks. K4......Out of it most times, but still have my own mind.

Ive read some nonsense on this board but the original post here goes some way to taking the biscuit - and the arrogance in assuming that speaks for most fans is ridiculous.
All the usual toys out of the pram tripe is emerging because we have failed to start the season exactly like some of our prescious supporters want !

EG - needs match fitness. Class is permanent. Ive yet to see any class in Tuncay, just a lot of running about. No point in being fit if you can't do anything with it. For the sake of repeating muyself I'm happy to see him (Tuncay) get a full game on Tuesday. Just hope he lasts the game fitness wise and contribution wise. If he's playing out of his skin he may just do a job and be kept on. I was really looking forward to see him play when he came as I was with Kitson. Stoke fans have been very patient with both, but I'm afraid from what I see - Tuncay definitelt flatters to deceive. But thats just my opinion.

I don't care if tuncay is the least talented player in our squad. The only thing i know is he gives a shit about fans and treats them well. Yesterday was a great example even though he was not picked, he waited to sign and pose for photograph with the fans.

Tuncay is the nearly man to me. Wherever he has been he always nearly scores or nearly sets something up. Flatters to deceive as has shown in most of the games he has played.
I'm not a TP lover by any means, some of his tactics baffle me but Tuncay is nowhere near the class of KJ Rick or EG, plus his attitude stinks.

I don't recall seeing him after the game giving autographs.
Whilst we're apologising I'd like to apologise on behalf of TP who has only managed to establish us in the premier and not an automatic top 4 side.
We should be turning up and whipping west ham a side with no manager and bottom of the league. Scot Parker would never get in our side or mark noble. What was pulis thinking trying to sign them!!?

Responding on this thread but with reference to a number of other (irritatingly similar) threads at the top of this board this morning, why don't we drop the entire team and let the fabulous Mr Sanli play in every position. I've actually got nothing against Tuncay and think he does have a place in the squad but this constant Tuncay love-in is baffling. What has he actually done apart from run around a lot and sign a few autographs? Cresser did that and got slated for it (and he scored goals).

If that doesnt sum the madness up Mr Gravy nothing will! Thanks.
(The whole thing stems from the usual source - a desire to have a pop at TP.)

personally think tunny could have add something different to the game yesterday as its been previously said TP's subs yesterday didn't add anything to the game. I think a fired up tunny running around a lot may have helped add a bit of energy to the team. EG and Ric didn't look that up for it yesterday when they came on at least in most games he plays tunny runs around a causes problems!

Eidur is an intelligent experienced crafted player, who i felt yesterday fitted in with our style. He got us the final delap throw in with came to nothing, but for the final kick may have won us the game.Which ok, is nothing much, what im trying to say he will use his observations of stoke city to bond us as a team.when match fit we will see him being the "link".to join the lads into a team.I love Tuncay and have met him and dont have anything bad to say about him,but he is a talented individual and we need team work. Pulis has had good vision.Matty and pennant on the wings.kenwyne will be scoring plenty of goals from them.Walters is a versatile player.Wilson is a good passer.Eidur will link all our talents together.

Really don't understand this Tuncay love-in. Anybody to me who goes home when not picked, not supporting his team mates, or walks down the tunnel after being substituted is showing massive amounts of disrespect to his colleagues and his boss, as well as the fans.

There is one thing about his treatment at Stoke...perhaps we don't know all the facts, as TP has never informed any fans (that's another subject), but he could, for instance, be injured!

alansadick what a pathetic post. Cant believe the Tuncay love in is still going on! Id rather have a 25% fit Gudjohnsen than Tuncay - because the fact is, if a chance came along, he would bag it. As has been said earlier, class is permanent. The reason Tuncay has not played for europes biggest clubs (as EG has) is because they would be embarrassed at his 2 yard misses and continued failure at converting one on one chances. Seriously, if you want entertainment from someone who spends his time running around and waving to the crowd - fuck off to the circus!!!!
