With confidence comes arrogance though, as was proven in that same shootout when he was attempting to put off each Swedish penalty taker. He got booked for it, suspended from the final, and in turn, the U21s lost, to Germany I think it was. Interesting... Lets hope it was a lesson learnt, would not want that happening on senior level. edit: PS. The Germans won that final 5-1...

Thing I find most astonishing about Hart is he seems to be a genuinely nice bloke. I'm sure he'll change after spending too long with the England squad.

Could teach Carew a thing or 2 ;D After seeing this I no longer fear the infamous penalty shootout Best thing about that was he was first to start the penalties for the U21s! With confidence comes arrogance though, as was proven in that same shootout when he was attempting to put off each Swedish penalty taker. He got booked for it, suspended from the final, and in turn, the U21s lost, to Germany I think it was. It was, the very overated Scott Loach played and made a mistake.

great england performance tonight but hart was not his best did anyone seem to think he seemed a little too cocky like they said afterwards?

I don't think the very moist surface helped, anyway the Swiss goal wasn't down to him so he's fine. I think the pressure of everyone saying how good he is has made him nervous.

hes a cracking young keeper, maybe nerves got under his skin a little for the first time, but to be fair the lads totally controlled the game, and the swiss goal was unstoppable.

His club form, if he can keep it up would place him as one of the best keepers on the planet. This ability, confidence, form & ability should natually progress into his international game. We've missed a real quality keeper since a young seaman or even shilton, but more often than not it's the ten turds in front of them that let us down

He had one or two iffy moments but he's fine, he saved England in his 4 caps or however many he's had than he has cost them! And he wasn't at fault for the goal so there's no need to worry

Couple of dodgy moments but no harm came. He'll want to put it all right. He can be Englands no1 for many years. Ending the tradition of england having to have a keeper older than Albert Tatlock.

He is one of very few England players that I really like. Great attitude and stunning ability.

It was, the very overated Scott Loach played and made a mistake. He's always been over-rated, concedes too many goals, and never seen a touch of magic from him. If he was as good as people make him out to be, he wouldn't still be at watford. A below average Championship team. Don't know why Alex Smithies or Fraser Forster were never in that U21 squad.
