best thing is he's stillvery young and goalkeepers get better with age, so we will always have a good keeper for another 15 years or so

How did he not get a game at the WC is beyond me been the obvious choice for like 2 years now but wouldn't you know as soon as he gets in the Citeh team he gets the number 1 spot Capello is wank, Hart though great only conceded 1 goal in 4 games for Citeh the year and it was a penalty, great save tonight, can't knock him do you like any football managers? Yeah a fair few actually but they don't usually come up short list for the England job should be: 'arry Hodgson Brucie Pulis Any of them would bring the cup home IMO need to get one of em in, in time for 2018, also can't knock Fergie he's a bit of a prick but he is a genius and a fantastic manager but he's too old for the England job.

At last a keeper in the making. After Green, Carson, Robinson debacle we finally have a keeper who may be as good as Banks, Shilts and Clemence given time.

I'm confident that Hart will become the worlds best keeper in a few years time. His performances over the last 2 seasons have been nothing short of magnificent and it is very rare to find a keeper that you can trust wholeheartedly nowadays.

Remember us giving Hart loads of stick at half time in from of the Boothen when he came out early to warm up. We were singing "There's Only One Shay Given" because Man City had either just signed him or were about to. He just turned round and smiled and waved, which I thought was spot on, and showed he'd got a strong personality. Top Keeper, pity he's playing for that Blue Shit!!!

He just doesn't seem to be phased at all by playing on the big stage for his country, very very confident for somebody his age and could probably turn out to be the best England keeper in my living memory.

I remember that day in the Boothen too, shows he has a great sense of humour. Shame we didn't pick him up when he was at Shrewsbury, he's easily the best young keeper in the world right now.

Green and carson look like scared rabbits when they're out on the pitch.

fantastic goalkeeper and considering capello picks people on form, how he wasnt number one in s.africa i will never know! who knows what might have been but i will say now with him in the sticks we would have beaten usa, and he would have saved at least 2 of the goals against germany He played for Birmingham and not a big club. Simple

The best thing about him is his confidence, he KNOWS he is saving that ball or catching it. He oozes with confidence which in turn helps the defence in front of him.
Future best GK in the world IMO

Hart was immense - you just got the impression Bulgaria were never going to score, Joe would save everything.
Now lets have the same for another no-nonsense young lad with obvious ability; Ryan Shawcross.

Could teach Carew a thing or 2 ;D After seeing this I no longer fear the infamous penalty shootout Best thing about that was he was first to start the penalties for the U21s! With confidence comes arrogance though, as was proven in that same shootout when he was attempting to put off each Swedish penalty taker. He got booked for it, suspended from the final, and in turn, the U21s lost, to Germany I think it was.
