Go on. Someone please say "source"
Watch this space. This deal fell through at the 11th hour last Thursday. Agent was the stumbling block. Hoping to get him in prior to Sheff Wed.

Well basically if we get him that pretty much promotes us. He is proven at this level and would defo fire us into the promised land, no disrespect to you breretonbert but im going to try not to get my hopes up too much cause we have been let down in the past on "definate signings". Fingers crossed it is true tho!!!

3 or 4 people on here seem to have heard something about serious interest in Kamara And I think someone else mentioned the agent as the 11th hour stumbling block after it looked like he'd be arriving here last Thursday. If he could reproduce anything like his WBA form of last season, he could be the key to seeing us over the line to auto? I bet the Baggies would love it if his goals got us promoted ;D

I HONESTLY believe that no premiership clubs who are in a relegation dogfight will sell ANY of their players, Kamara could prove useful to them.
Sorry but, this won't happen.

SIOCH - what was your name on the old oatie?

|
Post by FullerMagic on Mar 24, 2008 19:52:16 GMT
Maybe SIOCH - but he's not even getting on the bench, they've got lots of other options and his face doesn't seem to fit despite them being in a right mess.
And if the rumour still has legs, it means we haven't been/weren't flatly turned down by Hodgson.

Kamara is in the same mould as Fuller. However, if we get him and he partners Fuller up front, they would be a real handful. Both full of of pace, power, aggression and both can finish. My mouth is watering at the prospect!! Imagine Lawrence on the right and Bothroyd on the left too!!! Jesus!

Pulis wouldn't drop Cresswell if we had Giggs for the left and Ronaldo for the right SGS.
If we sign Kamara, he won't start alongside Fuller, and the best we could hope for would be to see him in a wide position, be that left or right.
Kamara would be a great alternative to Fuller, but I just can't imagine Pulis playing the two of them together. We would actually have to pass the ball!

Speaking to my work colleague, a Fulham season ticket holder and he could see Kamara going out on loan as he is way down the pecking order - even Jari Liteman seems to rate higher in Hodgson's plans and he is not fully fit! Hope we do get him or AN Other striker as we really need a new player to help us 'push on'

With Kamara and Fuller up front I don't think there'd be much passing going on.

Kamara was used as a wide left attacker at WBA and Pompy but also up front too. More in the mould of cresswell with pace. Can play wide and score goals but can beat people too. A more experienced Scott Sinclair if you will.

It is true that Kamara was the player we hoped to sign last week but did breakdown at the last minute, nothing to do with the player or agent though problem was at Fulhams end.
Its a possibility it might go through before Thursday depends on Hodgson.

I reckon Rob Hulse could be realistic I just can't see Fulham loaning out any players, even Kamara given the position he's in with them, because of the state they're in.
