Which channel will you watch the World Cup Final on?
BBC for me because they are slightly less crap than ITV.

It's a tough one. ITV commentary is awful but there are times when I wish death on Mark Lawrenson after his "witty" comments.
Shearer, Hansen and Lineker are fucking dreadful as well.

So the BBC.

BBC - I can't think of any reason to watch it on ITV. Not only are their pundits rubbish (worse than the BEEB) but the adverts do my head in. Football and adverts just don't mix. You reach half time - plenty to talk about - can't wait to see some replays and slow mo's and hear what the pundits make of it - and lo and behold ITV decide it is time to try to sell me something. I'm a renowned tight bastard - but I'd much rather pay a fiver to watch an ad free big game than suffer the adverts.

I'm not watching fucking either after that tedious shit in last night's semi. The final will be just the same; if it was on in my back garden I'd close the fucking curtains.

Don't be hard on yourself Fornside, you once gave ma a Murray Mint, unless that was some sort of grooming exercise...

BBC, although Mark Lawrenson is just terrible, ITV are even worse, and the amount of adverts drive me mad I couldn't believe it the other night when ITV didn't have a co-commentator for a World Cup Semi-Final because Jim Beglin was ill ( Thank God, he's worse than Lawrenson). How can they not have a back-up? ???

Thankfully neither as Sunday is my holiday travelling day.
The WC has been so absolutely dreadful that I'm not in the least bothered that I'll be missing it. Could be wrong but I think this final will be even more dire than France v Italy 4 years ago.
Anyway, it won't be like missing a 'proper' game involving Stoke - when obviously I would have been devastated!!
If I were at home it would have to be the beeb, after the experience of missing Englands goal against USA due to ITV's stupid incompetence. Picture's better on the beeb as well.

BBC- Mr Seedorf has been a fantastic pundit for them this World Cup, well spoken, intelligent and knows what he's talking about. He alone puts the entirety of the ITV crew to shame.

BBC for me. Although Lawrenson does grate on me an awful lot. He justs very little sense.
It's a shame Holland are in the final really, as this'll probably mean Seedorf won't be one of the pundits. He's been the only decent person in a very poor gaggle of pundits over the two networks.

ITV's highlights package has mostly consisted of replays of Desailly looking like a cunt every time an African team touched the ball. Ludicrous.

If it's on both, like nearly everyone else, it'll be the Beeb for me.
I don't even know why. It just is. It's as natural as breathing.
Lineker's no Lynam, and the BBC coverage is not what it was. The level of punditry is pretty shit, truth be told.
But it's still streets ahead of ITV and Andy 'tell you what' Townsend and Adrian 'everyman' Chiles and his Black Country umming and arring.
And Edgar Davids. What's that all about?
