This board seems to have a loyal scattering of posters just wondering is anyone an old bastard like me. I am 43 and have been going Stoke since 1972 and my 3 kids 7,8 and 11 have all started as well. My missus cant stand footie so it really winds her up. Watford here we come.....

Dave, I said it wasnt old when I was 32, until I got there. Hitting 40 has literally hit me hard!

I can't remember how old I am ;D So I've got no f***n chance of remembering when I first went Then again I could be 47 and a 1/2 and been going since I was twelve apart from this last 2 or 3 years when I've been so damn busy I've had no spare time, no holidays and all my money goes into paying off a mortgage on some land ??? ??? ???

25, been going since 1989/90
The 25 years I've been alive have coincided with the shittest period in our history, give or take the odd chink of light here and there.
If you make me wait another 25 years Mr. Tony, I'm not gonna be happy...although I'll probably still go, like the optimistic plank devoted supporter I am

17 and my first match i can remeber was someones testimonial vs everton i think anyone help me out on that Didn't Peter Fox have a testamonial against Everton? - mind think that was early 90's (91 I think?) so may not have been that if you are 17. Anyway, 31 and first game Nov '84 against Liverpool.
