Fancy 1-1.
We'll inevitably concede from a Delap throw in.

If we want to win then we must have a centewr forward that stays in the center and all the players know that there is always someone as a target . just got to watch the Burnley game last night and that was something that stood out to me that we made some good ball across the goal but NO center forward Tunny running around like a frighten rabbit He is not a striker he is an opptuneist striker like any mid field player. We need these points and that is 3 none less the enermy are coming to our place and they should be shite scared of what they are up against. I might not get to many games but I sure as hell scare the neighbours.

What team would you all go for?
Id say
Soro Wilko Huth Faye Collins Lawrence Delap Whitehead Etherington Kitson Tuncay
In other words, wouldnt change a thing from Burnley match but drop Mama.
Thing is, TP will never in our life time drop Mama Sidibe. ;D
Think we will win 2-0 Sanli (4, 18)
;D

If Fuller and Higgy are back i would go with: Tommy Wilko Huth Abdy Higgy Tunny Delap Deano Matty Fuller Kits If not replace Higgy with Collins (no one else really apart from Pugh) and move Tunny up front and put Lawrence on the right. come on stoke

Don't think that I'd argue too much about his predictions. Can well see Stoke drawing 2-2 though. Now that we are safe(ish) with games in hand, I wouldn't be too surprised if TP gave Tommy a rest and brought in Begovic for a first start. The rest of the team make-up depends on how the injured players have responded to treatment, but we really need Ric to be playing to possibly repeat last season's heroics.

I'd have to go for a tight game, ending in a Villa win. It really depends on whether Fuller is fully fit, and i doubt he will be. 2-1 Villa.
They're a top side, a really good football team, and i think we're going to have to be at our very, very best to get something out of the game. We've got to hope they'll have a bad game like they did at their place.

Probably team: Sorensen Wilkinson Huth Faye Collins Lawrence Delap Whitehead Etherington Tuncay Sidibe WD’s team*: Sorensen Wilkinson Huth Faye Collins Lawrence Delap Whitehead Etherington Tuncay Kitson * If fit I’d have Ric up front with Kitson and drop Tuncay to the right at the expense of Lenny.

I don't think they're a 'really good football team' - they have some quality, pace, look to get crosses in and play back to front a lot.
They're a better version of Spurs and even Liverpool in my opinion, they don't really play expansive mouthwatering 'football'

Of course it's not Arsenal or Manchester United style football, and yes they do mix it up with Heskey/Carew up top. However, on the break they play as good a football as anyone, the likes of Young, Downing and Petrov are brilliant on the ball and you'd struggle to find a better player than Milner at this moment in time. They have got players with great delivery and a genuine aerial threat so they'd be mad not to swing crosses in.
I really admire what they've done, It hasn't been done on a shoe string budget, but I do like the way they play and we're going to struggle big time with their pace. I'd fancy us if we had Ryan in the team, but the pace they have will tear Abdoulaye open and we're going to have our work cut out.

The game will be won and lost in mdfield. Villa have a good midfield and I think it is going to be up to Whitehead and Delap to keep Milne quiet although our leftback for tomorrow will be busy too.
If we can get good service and support to the front two, we'll be in with a shout.

I can well understand why a lot of Stokies, and indeed football fans in general dont dislike Villa. Seemingly honest players, no flash harrys, a number of English lads and a manager who doesnt too often shower himself in utter cuntery. So I may be in the minority here, but I fucking hate the claret and blue bastards with a passion.

line up
sorro
wilko huth big faye higgy
larence deano delap etherington
sidibe tuncay
subs
begovic collins pugh lil faye wheln kitson fuller/moult
stoke city 3-2 aston villa
i reckon villa will go in at half time with a 1-0 lead through carew then stoke to go ahead 2-1 early in the second half with goals from tuncay and whitehead with a james miller long range effort eaqualing the score to make it 2-2 but only for fuller to head home the winner from a rory delap throw.
