kevin keegan is the best story for non newcastle football fans this year. the mans a genius, how does he do it. i can hardly remember them scoring. he cannot be credited with the win against us neither. for sacking a competant manager in big sam allardyce and not giving him time newcastle deserve to go down. if they do i wil be laughing

He just is not a manager. Great player in his time but he cannot hack it when the pressure builds.
"I would just love it if he walks out, just love it" ;D ;D ;D

3 points off relegation and they have the worst goal difference by 5 goals to the next worse from 18th to 12th

It's hilarious isn't it. Almost makes me want to log onto the Newcastle site for a laugh.
Ever noticed the 'rabbit-in-the-headlights' look whenever he's interviewed these days?
Can see him walking at the end of the season as Newcastle just avoid relegation, saying I made a mistake to come back, that's it with me and management now...

To coin a phrase -:
"I would love it, love it" if Newcastle got relegated!!
I hate Newcastle with a passion.
Big club my arse, what have they ever won?

When he became manager he demanded consistency from the team - AND he's certainly getting it!!

Can't really see them going down unfortunately. Even if its just because there's three sides worse than them.

He must really be hating himself for letting them talk him into coming back. I feel quite sorry for him but it serves the fans right, they seriously have a mass psychosis going on up there.

One reason he might have gone back is because he sunk some money into the soccer circus thing and I assume he lost it.

I feel quite sorry for him. Me too, Im not sure why everyone hates him so much on here ? .... he was gracious enough to unveil sir Stans statue for free when others refused to do it without payment, seems like a nice bloke as well. And i certainly wouldn't put all of Newcastles troubles down to him, they were clearly struggling before he came in.

akinbadbuy - I hold no brief for NUFC even though I live within spitting distance BUT -if you had asked what have Newcastle won RECENTLY, I'd agree with you that they have nothing to crow about. However, you said what have they EVER won - which enables much older succeses to be quoted - eg
Football League Champions - Won 4 FA Cup - Won 6, (Runner up 7) European Fairs Cup Won 1
UEFA Cup SF - 1 FL Cup RU - 1 Prem - RU - 1
Wish we had a history even half as good!

The problem comes with the Newcastle fans bleating on thinking he's God when he's a bloody average/poor manager. The problem lies not with Keegan but with the Castle fans association with him.

Serpico - I don't think anyone hates him per se, more all of the hysterical bollocks that accompanied his return, which, given his record, was completely unwarranted.
Also, Newcastle have got worse since he arrived. Fat Sam won the odd game. Keegan hasn't won a league game since his return.
