Despite my own frustrations over team selections, I honestly can't believe we're having people ringing Praise and Grumble and stating that they think Pulis should be sacked...it's utter madness.
However, just out of interest, what would have to happen for you to take a Pulis-out stance?
For me, if we ever do get relegated, then that would have to signal Tone's exit. If we'd come up, not spent a lot, and then gone down then I'd have to give him a shot at getting us back...but after spending £40 million (or whatever it is) over two years, it'd take some very incompetent management to get relegated.
However, until the day that Jeff Stelling utters the words "and that result today means Stoke City are mathematically relegated", I don't think the words "Pulis out" should ever pass anyone's lips.

If we should find ourselves by, say, mid-March adrift and losing touch in the bottom three, then some very serious decisions would have to be made and I don't think anyone could have too many complaints if we decided a change was needed to steady the ship. As it stands, in spite of some fairly worrying tactics, selections and performances, things aren't that bad and we're doing ok. It would be the move of a dribbling lobotomy patient to sack him now.

If we were to go down and then have anything other than very good start (say up to December) in the Championship.
Edit - Personally, I don't think 40 million over two seasons is a lot to get established/stay up in this league, considering the squad we started Prem life with.

When we are back where we were when he first took over - a hopeless position at the bottom of the Fizzy Pop League.

If we were relegated this season. 60 million spent over 2 seasons, playing the same square pegs as we did in the championship would be inconceivable.

amazing how many are prepared to be relegated and have a bad season in the fizzy pop league before considering it i want this club to stay in the prem for many a year, i am just not convinced he is the man to do it. i keep telling myself it is part of his plan of staying up for 3 seasons before we move on to the next level, but this attitude of playing not to lose, and being so bloody defensive minded will be the death of us.

Ill be honest with you as a bit of a rimmer here, When he took Tunch off at Hull after 7 minutes, i shouted Fuck Off Pulis. He's slowly getting on me tits now.

People have been "not convinced that he's the man" for years though, yet he's proved them wrong at every turn.

It will be time to look elsewhere if we finished in the bottom five this season. Surely, we won't though?

Expectancy is the talk of the devil himself and should be stamped upon at the merest hint. Football supporters should know their place and be thankful for everything they spend their hard earned money on.

It has to be reasonable expectancy within the context of what is realistic though Pugs. Realistically, mid-table was pretty much the best Charlton could hope for, with maybe an occasional foray into Europe.
