So the team that played Villa off the park at times last week is now not good enough even though up until the goal today we were the better team and AGAIN should have scored first.
At times I hope Pulis gets sacked just so we can appoint some other manager and get relegated (obviously I never want us to do badly, but you get my point)
Yes we finished way above expectations last season, but due to this we now have crazy expectations on here at times and down at the ground we start to boo our own players for passing the balls backwards to a team mate when no one up front is making a move
Tuncay is world class and since he has started we have played better football, but we have lost both games.
This place is so depressing after a loss, people selling there season tickets etc. GOOD, I say, we are better without you moaning clowns down the ground.
Yes Tony's team selections may seem strange at times, but he has got us here, kept us here last season and until we get relegated and look like we aren't coming back up then we can look at replacing him. Until then shut the fook up and support the team and manager.

I don't bother much on here anymore. Incidently it's as dull to read ..... Tony's team selections may seem strange at times He has got us here Kept us here last season and until we get relegated and look like we aren't coming back up then we can look at replacing him. Until then shut the fook up and support the team and manager. .....week in week out as it is those who criticise. Just thought i'd add some balance

Yeah whatever you say.......Cant you see that if Pulis continues to play certain players out of position and keeping the more creative players on the bench we will struggle to score goals. Is that thick enough for you?

Didn't we create enough chances last week at Villa and today? I'm not sure its the creating thats the problem, it's the finishing ?

In both of the games you mention we have created very little in my opinion. Midfield is the problem, and bringing in an expensive striker without sorting the midfield is folly.

Ric can get booked v Brum and will miss a game - oh that'll be York City then. It's not always pretty and at times it does defy logic, but you have to think why TP's doing what he does. And Gerrard has just scored the same goal as Mama last week and it's been given. That doesn't help.

True, i do agree we need at least 2 creative midfielders. I don't want to affend people, but this place after a loss is stupid

To be completely honest Padders, I think we have players already that can do better. I just cannot understand what Whitehead does to justify his continued selection.
He has been average at best in the middle, and on the wing he offers nothing at all. Even defensively today he was poor.
Sadly though, he was probably the second best midfielder on the park behind Ethers, and that says all we really need to know.

Getting tired of the oatcake now. Its just depressing. Why cant we just support our team in a positive way. Its well known that the more negative we are the worse it will turn out for the team, lets just get behind them and if we're in the bottom 3 come may... then have your moan.

Our finishing is a big problem, but we are also not having enough shots at goal and when we do they are usually way off target, Glenn is a prime example in the last few games.

just tell us all why everybody that does'nt agree with you and pulis is a thick bastard. please let others have an opinion. So why was the same team last week now not good enough? Explain that please? Last week we were playing a very organized team on a brilliant run and yes we were unlucky. This week we were playing a circus of team with a make-shift defence with a 35 yr old left-back who can't defend just look at Spurs away, they got player unrest in the camp after the Hughes sacking and what do we do we give the left-back who can't defend a free afternoon as we play fuckin Whitehead right-wing who can't do anything with a football! We should of played a balanced side with Ric Tuncay up top Liam right wing.instead .... We play a big useless of piece shit upfront who WILL NEVER SCORE but works arrrd. We don't play our two talented forwards together again, why? We leave our best right-winger AGAIN... at the club on the bench who certainly would of got at the left-back Silvinio so we don't kniow what he might of created for us. We play a fuckin joke of a left-back in Collins who is at fault again for both goals just what is he marking? HE IS WANK!!! Diao getting worse each week and must be on a 1,000 fouls by now!!!

I think the relegation scrap will be between the bottom 10 clubs with very few points seperating them.We need to score more goals more service from midfield and Sidibe out of the side

I read this post over an hour ago when I got home from Manchester, & well, I rather be a thick bastard than a deluded one, that cost me best part of a hundred quid, to watch a 10 quid performance along with 10p tactics. Christ everyone knows how weak City are to a high ball & pressure on their defence how many clean sheets have they kept this season I wonder. So we lump the high ball to the smallest man in the side, while the managers favourite big fella just watches, seemingly incapable of jumping let alone running, then we really go for it at 2 - 0 down by putting on a forward - to replace another one - thick, delusional & priceless. Take the specs of padders things are not as bad as some make out niether are they as good either.

I don't think so, but 1 win in nine games someone should be asking questions.

good post padders, the team could do better at times imho and so could tones selections, but a knee jerk reaction after every draw or loss realy gets on my tits, if i listend to some people on hear i'd belive were big enougth to get murhinio in and then sign a couple of world class players and break in to the top four, happy days are hear again!!

Since Pulis took over the club has made stride after stride forwards.
Look at where we were to where we are now.
There may a short time spent standing still before the next steps forwards are taken.
It is astonishing that Pulis recieves such criticism after a handful of average results.
I remember similar posts around this time last year. Did the club stay up? Has the squad improved? Is the quality of football better? Are we going to continue to move forwards?
Yes to all.
(carling cup, Pompey away. Tuncay, Lawrence, Whealan. Lots of 'football' played, no balance lost 4-0)

meirstoke,
please look at the form table and tell me with our upcoming games where you see us this time next month.
Knee jerk? He's been picking the wrong team for months now mate. How long since Lenny had a run of games on the right (apart from when he's fit enough for Ireland, obviously). How giddy does he get if Mama isn't injured?
We are going one way at the moment, and it pains me to type that. Monday is simply massive, and it should never have got to that stage.
Ffs, pick the right team TP.
