I am actually starting to worry that we may be sucked into a relegation dog fight! Are current form is quite alarming! Last team we beat was Pompey at home and we played dreaful that day!
We have drawn with Wigan and Wolves at home and really should be beating them!
Throwing away the games against Hull and Wolves seems to have really hit our confidence hard!
Coupled with dressing room unrest it is proving to be a winter of discontent!

can't see us beating Man Citeh! If we lose that there is surely cause for concern?

I don't think there's much chance of us getting relegated but we really should be doing better. We've got a great defence and keeper, good wingers and an excellent front line, but our CM really is needlessly wank. If we sorted that out then we'd be killing off Wolves and Wigan etc and we really could be a strong case for a top-half finish.
It's not so much worrying as really frustrating.

I'm not worried but very aware. The part that needs to be improved is finishing. Ethers and Whelan were both wasteful on Saturday. That needs immediate improvement.

I think that we need to get a settled 11 and more importantly a settled midfield 4!
Diao has been poor this season as has Delap in my opinion! Neither should be starting games! Sidibe isn't a Prem striker either!
We need to start picking our best players, the best footballers!
The likes of Lawrence and Whelan should be the first names on the team sheet!

As long as we don't panic when we lose a few places, we'll still be comfortable at the end of the season. I still maintain we'll finish 14th and will be reasonably safe by Easter.

Lets be honest, until we get 40 points we should always be worried. This is the Premiership, points don't come easy you have to earn every single last one of them. I believe will stay up but theres a host of teams in this relegation battle this season with us being one of them.

Forget Man City- I'd be ecstatic with a point there (unless we're 1-0 up in injury time).
Now a poor display/result against Brum...alarm bells.

I'm not concerned to be honest, that doesn't mean I think relegation is an impossibility though. I know this season it's unlikely such a low points tally will keep a team in the division, but if it does happen to be the same total as last season, then 35 points will keep us in the premiership, meaning we'd need to accumulate 14 more points from our remaining games this season, something you'd fancy us to better considerably. We are also a point up on last season after 17 games, and whilst that doesn't seem like great progression, I think we are definitely proving to be a tougher nut to crack, especially away from home, and with a bit more luck on our side, we'd have probably transferred several of those draws into victories, especially at Bolton, where we would've won bar a moment of madness from Collins. We've definitely improved the squad, and with further investment likely in January, we have every reason to believe we could not only stay up again, but also better our 12th place finish

This always looked like the trickiest part of the season when the fixtures came out. I think we will be fine, my current worry is a spanking off City with their new manager. Bellamy is in great form and seems to have got faster!!!

not so much worried but nervously looking over the shoulder,i'm very worried though that we just don't score enough goals, its ok building from the back but we need to start scoring more than one in a game as if we do get sucked into the shit a draw will do nowt to help us.The midfield is a big concern for me they play too deep and to be quite honest they are just not good enough

I will always be worried when Pulis still picks players who aren't fit, aren't playing well or still tries to put square pegs in round holes even after all the money he has spent or to most of us wasted.......

Not in the least. We all knew (or should have known) that with no midweek game and everone else playing we were certain to lose ground. Couple that with the fact that we faced two away games at Villa and Man City and it was obvious (even to our biggest optimists) that we would be much lower in the table after Christmas. It hasn't gone too badly so far and the fixtures on Boxing Day should ensure that we don't drop too far and can push on again in the new year. We're still doing fine and I am confident about the rest of the season.

Teams from 8th place on down the league are all involved and all capable of putting a good or bad run together. The two sides most recently seeming the worst of the 20 in the league have won games - Pompey and Wolves - and Brum are flying.
I do worry that complacency amongst the fans as well as this tidal wave of opinion about changing our style will be our downfall. However, I believe Tony won't let this be a major -enough factor in our season and will keep us plugging away.
More goals and pretty approach play would be nice, but not at the expense of results. Of those clamouring for this change, I am sure a lot will not likely be attending Championship games if it came to that.

A loss a Man City wouldnt phase me, we should be looking to get points off Fulham though.
At 21 we are above target for a half season and another 3 points off Fulham will make us 20% above the 20 points (40 for season)
Our current form (playing style) is pretty decent really its just we faced a tough wigan and Villa so it seems like we are doing shit.
I am a bit worried but if we get 20 points next half then we should be fine.

I'm not GETTING worried, always have been, always will in this league. By god it's tough with EVERY game a potential banana skin.
Do I think we'll go down? No!, but let's take nothing for granted and stop being complacent because let's face it, we're not that great a team where we can say with certainty that it's a sure thing that we'll stay here.

I think that there are very few complacent Stoke fans (certainly not those that have been around a while). I'm never complacent where Stoke are concerned and I underestimate no-one in this division. However, neither do I get worried when we have two very tough away games in a row and don't play midweek when all our rivals do. Clearly, from the Wigan game, we were bound to move down the table prior to the Birmingham game. We simply can't get ourselves into a panic every time we have a tough few games and slip down the table. We are good enough to survive and IMO we will do just that. Anything else is a bonus and I don't go along with this (we should be beating these) attitudes. We have been in the Premier League for ONE season and we probably (hopefuly) have a few more before we can start thinking about anything other than survival. So others can talk about 'moving on' because IMO we're nowhere near that yet. We're still stabilising ourselves in this division and, to date, we're doing a pretty good job IMO.
