I'd stick with him, the big problems aren't down to him, he does need to drop the 4-3-3 though. The biggest problems with how the club is run, yes they aren't his fault. Having a Schue in favourite - Cundle, and perserving when clearly not working is his mistake. Not getting in a LB or CB in, during the window was a huge error. Overseeing a rift in the team and a bomb squad is partially his fault. I am confident a more experienced manager would have handled it better. Even AN got the slightest tune of Mmaee. Tactical inflexibility - inverted fullbacks or nothing, during a relagation dogfight, is beyond naive. Has to go pronto. We are wasting time and games the longer we perserve with him. Was the lack of left back down to Martin or was it someone else that said about numbers or something stupid like that. Over seeing the rift is partly his fault? Players being twats and not doing what they're asked in training etc isn't down to him, he just had the balls to try and sort it out. He also got a tune out of Mmaee, he was looking good before the fallout. He's been pretty flexible as far as I've seen, he's changed it up a few times, agree about the inverted fullback thing, I don't like it. I understand why he's using Cundle but he just hasn't really fit in and it's time someone else was used, god knows who as they're all pretty shite.

And so there should be pressure. If he's still here when we are in Div 1 the club will demand results immediately and quite rightly. Apathy will soon go if we start winning football matches regularly and are towards the top of the table. you don’t reward a failure if he hasn’t done the job he’s employed to do , if he takes us down no way should he be here next season I'd stick with him, the big problems aren't down to him, he does need to drop the 4-3-3 though.

Our first choice left back being shite was the reason, unfortunately we decided to replace him with more of the same. He was never as bad as many made out on here was he? lets not re-write history. Note he was in the team of the week for the championship this week. Josh Tymon should not have been sold , much like Brown, without a replacement. As a left back I thought he was pretty bad yes, I'm not rewriting anything, he was better further forward, as a back up he'd have been fine but he may have been on decent wages. They thought they'd got a replacement which is the bigger problem, thinking what they brought in was enough, and partly why Ricky went I imagine. He clearly didn't have a clue what he was doing.

He lost his first game at Jan 20th. Was it so unthinkable that Thompson, Gooch and Hoever could do the job at LB until the summer transfer window? Also, Rose and McNally was alright until the Brighton game. Was it so obvious that, with Wilmot coming back, we were ok in the CB department until the summer? We were dominating games but failed to score. Was it so obvious that it wasn't attacking players we were missing? rose and McNally along with hoever had been visibly poor since arrival. Needed a real experienced leader. We sold our 1st choice left back and main scorer of goals for no reason in the summer which wasn’t his fault I admit but my god it was obvious. Our first choice left back being shite was the reason, unfortunately we decided to replace him with more of the same.

He looks a fairly decent player, but always wants to cut in onto his left foot. He needs to take his man on down the line more. If he went down the line, don't think he can cross with his right peg. He could do with doing it just to keep them guessing, if it's a shit cross so be it as long as it's not too comfortable for the defenders.

I was in denial up until the QPR match, but what I saw then really worried me.all I see is a team devoid of confidence, basic ability without any direction or plan. I actually think they are trying but sadly, and bafflingly, don’t actually seem to be good enough. The players aren't great but the bigger problem is a naive moron of a manager stubborning sticking with tactics and a system (introverted fullbacks) that we don't have the players for. We have very dodgy defenders who then gift goals every game. Not learning the lesson that we only got a win against QPR by grinding it out, and going back to his stupid inverted system. Having favourites (Cundle) who are a Schue in for the starting 11 every week, who don't bring anything to our style of play. Shuey needs fucking off asap and we need a firefighter in pronto. Tbf to him, we don't have the players for anything really. Out of interest, who are his other favourites, I can only think of Cundle?

If it was hostile it wouldn't be directed at the opposition the way things are going.

Would he, in what way? We don't have a balanced squad and what we do have lacks a lot of quality, not sure he'd make much of a difference. Lots of teams have unbalanced squads and lack of ability. No club is ever happy with it's squad. It is ludicrous to suggest that a better manager couldn't make a difference to how ours performs. Of course he would. You only have to read the comments prior to Jone's dismissal to the effect that no one could get a tune out of the players that we had. Yet his replacement managed to have the same players performing at promotion winning form. I don't think we have the squad regardless, and as you say, I'm sure plenty of clubs have unbalanced squads but there is no part of our squad that isn't, it's buggered all ends up.

Either that or they're a fraud or a chancer etc etc blah blah blah. My memory may be faulty but I would have thought that you are one of the biggest offenders. Pretty sure I've never called any manager a fraud or a chancer.

It can work, but the players playing the role, and those in midfield have to be superb on the ball and totally comfortable in possession. I don’t think we have those players. Baker and Burger are the only two we have who can take the ball anywhere in my opinion, and they rarely lose possession. What seems to be happening is we play this way, have players out of position, lose the ball through mis control or a poor pass and then we give up a chance. This happens to the best teams too but far less. Rarely lose possession, Baker struggles to pass to his own team constantly, if we were to continue with these tactics he'd need replacing too. We need to make it as simple as possible for them, a flat back 4 with someone sitting infront of them, it won't be pretty but it may just keep us up then we can reassess in the summer.

In hindsight Mowbray would have probably suited our current predicament much better but he's a bit of a miserable fucker really and I'm not sure the fans would take to him. Would he, in what way? We don't have a balanced squad and what we do have lacks a lot of quality, not sure he'd make much of a difference.

I can see that conversation "Look I know we pay you thousands of pounds a week but if you really try hard not to concede a goal I'll reward you with more" Hilarious 😂 how about them being professional and doing their job right in the first place. Some of the stuff you read on here is amazing isn't it 🤣. Tbf I thought clean sheet bonuses were a thing anyway?

Brown would be our top scorer. There’s not a shadow of doubt about that. Which is really depressing given how limited he is.

Effort wasn't the problem and Brown wouldn't have made the difference, we lack quality and creativity. Decision making is also an issue, that last free kick was ridiculous.

Tell me who'll replace him, first? I don’t buy for one second that keeping him is the best we can do given the big wide world of football. Who's willing to take us in the bottom three that we'd be happy staying long term if we stay up? I'd stick with him but the 4-3-3 needs to be gone.

Why do we always put the ball on to their wrong foot when we pass it, it forces them to take an extra touch we could do without.

Feel sorry for Junior. Imagine being told to follow a stupid tactic and then getting dropped for doing exactly that. Or the injury...
