Got a habit of doing this Wigan... Strangely they had the reverse for a long time in the Prem where they were winning and safe at Christmas timish and then couldn't buy another win

The issue with todays result apart from the tactics in the 2nd half, which there was absolutely no need for is what is happening around us
Wigan are pulling away after looking gone. Luton are making a fist of it and we should have put more daylight between us
Huddersfield and Reading have given themselves breathing space
However Hull and Charlton are in freefall
In that context we need to keep having a go and not adopting the Lambert mentality that saw us get relegated

It is feeling a bit like the relegation from the Prem. Draw and sit back when we should have gone for it e.g. West Ham away and missing vital chances
Really does feel like 50/50 right now

His 'in game' management is poor and he is ultra negative but I guess you take five points in a week in our position. If we get out of this, we're still five million miles away from being anything aren't we. A million miles indeed

His tactics worked first half even if I didnt agree with the team selection
His tactics second half, well there was no need and it cost us to valuable points

Ok first half we were pretty good, pressing, chasing and should have been 2 or 3 up?
But what was that second half? The tactics made no sense as we just sat back
The subs were bizarre - no Campbell when we need an outlet and to get behind their defense Why Gregory after that showing midweek? Collins (nowt against the lad) made us even more negative if that was possible re the negative formation
Clucas was missing most of that game and Ince was very poor second half and looks like he has lost any belief he had in front of goal
Butland in the second half was very poor
Totally bottled it second half with the tactics and subs and there was no need

Amazing Sufolk Stokie - you probably won't be home until 2am at least - fantastic support mate And the result - really good It is hard to understand that despite having a good manager, having spent a lot of money and having a squad most of this league can only dream of, we still look second best to teams like Blackburn. Is it tactics, confidence or sheer inability that means we are getting played off the pitch by these and their ilk ? Hard to say but it certainly proves that money does not guarantee success at this level 👍

Good point. We are absolutely woeful and don't look remotely convincing in anything we do. We are absolutely miles away from being the side we should be. Spot on

I thought we played ok and apparently Blackbum were one of the form teams who a lot of our own fans were saying we'd get dicked against. Gouranga. They were nowt tonight as indeed were we

Apart from Gregory on (would have brought Diouf on) subs made sense We need Campbell and Powell in good shape for Luton Agreed

He is a good fit for us. Given what he has walked in to if we stay up he will have worked a minor miracle
Stay up or go down I think it will take him 2 seasons to sort that rabble and the culture around the whole club out
He also has not been given a good hand with several key players injured just when we need them most

From where I was it looked like he could he got his angles wrong for the first beaten at the near post? He appeared rooted to the goal line. Mind you he probably does not know what to do with that back 4 in front of him He did make some saves but four open goal misses kept the score down Come on mate like Wezza said without Butland it would have been 7/8. People slagging him off after today had already decided that before the game As I said it was from the view I had and I generally stick by Butland If he saved 4 goals then it could have been 12 as they missed four tap ins

Well firstly 4 - 2 flattered us. They missed 3 or 4 open goals.
Out played, out passed and out fought
Butland had a shocker and was at fault for 3 goals. Did someone glue his boots to the goal line?
The back four were all very very poor and made to look even worse by no support from midfield or wingers tracking back
Allen had a poor game as did Ince. Thompson was a poor man's JM - not impressed on that showing
Powell, Clucas and Campbell the only ones who can hold their heads up
Campbell injury puts makes a bad day even worse
The manager has got a hell of a job on his hands now - mind you I thought his subs were too late or done because enforced - But in his defence you cant sub 8 players
Need Collins and Ngoy - need to change something
The last two games we really do look again like a relegated side
Today was as bad as anything this season

Stoke lose 4 - 0 and Tymon is getting all the brikbats on this MB and other parts of the media. OK he was very raw thrown in at the last minute. OK he was over zealous in some of his tackles. OK MON had to sub him before he got another yellow and sent off. But there is no way he was at fault for out defeat, nor was he responsible for any of the goals, unless you want to blame him for the third, because he was pulled off and there wasn't effectively a proper LB. He's had very little competitive football and people should cut him some slack. As a 20 year old he has his career ahead of him. Supporters should be patient and support him as though he were their son. 100% He may be good, he may be bad, but the whole team did not turn up at Derby It was a very poor performance from all. You can not judge a newbie on that performance (same as our youthful sub winger).

People who only comment when we lose are the ones who have personal issues in one's life, seriously we are in a much better position and I'm no sheep no will be. I comment good and bad thanks The comment is on tonight’s game and a realisation of the task ahead of MON.

Well if there ever was a reminder that if MON keeps us up he will have worked a miracle, this is the wake up call. A collection of individuals who have forgotten how to pass or control a ball again. Poor to a man in the outfield Special mention to Powell, Ince and Vokes who were appalling along with the back 2 The manager got his tactics wrong tonight as well Very poor I've read that the manager has got his tactics wrong a few times tonight but I'm interested to know why. We played 4-2-3-1 which is the best system we have given the players we have so what was wrong tactically? I'd question his selection of Ince and Vokes but beyond that I'm struggling to think what he did wrong tactically. We played poorly. Very poorly but we have very poor players so it shouldn't really come as a surprise to anyone. The mistakes we made tonight have been visible in pretty much every game we've played. True but he should have changed it as we lost the midfield

His Vokes obsession might end up fucking him. What the hell did he expect to see tonight? He may as well not be on the pitch. Same with Ince again. Powell was poor tonight as well but the Vokes thing is mind boggling bonkers

I think it's the first time since I started following Stoke that I think all our players are up for sale for the right price, and the "funniest" part is that it doesn't worry me at all who will leave of them. We said the same on Saturday X has been sold meh

Good grief, we are in massive shit aren't we. My goodness what a mess. And yet we still carry on by the looks of it by potentially letting a very promising youngster go for pretty much nothing and yet players who are not even in the squad are on crazy wages who no one wants Nothing wrong with the ongoing process indeed. It is beyond incompetent how the board have over seen this fall which looks like not stopping anytime soon even if we stay up because the legacy of poor recruitment and over inflated contracts and wages weighs around our neck for the foreseeable future What indeed is all the fuss about Well done one and all Shocking stuff
