John Coates is an incompetent minge. It’s that simple. I don't disagree, given what he has overseen, but you can still have a performing well paid team despite the owner I just dont think it is that simple

It's the owners. All this is down to them and nobody else. It really is that simple. I do not think it is that simple We get rid of them and where does the money come from? That is not an excuse. Maybe their patience, which did work for us in the past has created an air of ambivalence across the club

No one seems able to identify/agree what the hell is going on
Some blame the manager(s) Some blame the tactics Some blame the players Some the recruitment And of course there is the ownership A foolish few blame the supporters Some blame the structural set up of the management team Some want the old school back Some believe those days are gone
It really is a mess and in this league or the one below next season it is going to take one hell of a turnaround
The whole thing is such a mess it is hard to work out where to start
We basically have no identity and until we define that I do not see how we can move forward
Given how so many cogs appear to not be working it really is a total disaster

It just happens when you are not very good and getting worse. In the late 80s and early 90s we would be lucky to get more than 12,000. Even before promotion to the Prem it was 14,000 to 15,000 at best. It is not unique to us. Most clubs suffer when they are a bit crap and cut away from the supporter base

but they were for financial reasons as bad as they were I just don't get the you really don't know how bad we were argument With the riches we have now this is easily the worst in pretty much our history. It is a cluster fuck Understand the context, more than valid but being shit in div 3 was worse than being shit in this league I think equally are as bleak and there ain't no winner in that race Sad we are hanging in to how shit we were I am just as guilty but this well real shit

So in context it is given the financial backing. This is beyond a roof blowing off the Vic or anything else it is utter shambolic at every turn Yes concede that, with the money spent since relegation we should have had at least one season at the other end However div 3 under Ball/Paddon and the Brian Little season were far far worse experiences than this but they were for financial reasons as bad as they were I just don't get the you really don't know how bad we were argument With the riches we have now this is easily the worst in pretty much our history. It is a cluster fuck

I think perhaps it is, certainly in the modern era. If we go down this season I’d say it must be. Even if we stay up, this will be the eighth successive season when we’ve finished in the bottom half of the league we are playing in. Has it ever been this bad before? It doesn’t feel like it to me….. Absolutely no where near We've sunk to far lower depths It is however the longest dullest shitest period have experienced, relentless dullness understand the spell in division 2 in the 50's was dull The difference now is we have had millions So in context it is given the financial backing. This is beyond a roof blowing off the Vic or anything else it is utter shambolic at every turn

Yes it is Absolutely no question Anyone who cites the Alan Ball era forgets where we we were money wise When we were shit there were reasons you could hang on go Now there are none
Right now is absolutely beyond shocking and given the clubs financial backing beyond inexcusable. What an absolute mess this club has become

Another example of the sheer lack of due diligence at our club. They only needed to ask a single Norwich fan or anyone connected with the club. The bloke was a car crash at Norwich and is the same here and yet we yet again thought we could take a tarnished person and make it work Totally sums up the shit show we have become None was done. JC courted Neil for so long he was desperate for him to come to Stoke. He agreed to everything that he asked for. Disastrous. 100%. I knew he had the reputation way before and sadly it has worked out that way but predictable as usual as the shit show our club has become

That was awful and yet some think it was better I guess that sums up our current status If you don't think that was better than saturday you didn't watch one of the games. Of course I did. Hence the low bar

Worst performance under Röhl by an absolute mile, but Stoke were horrifically bad, I'll take that!
Sums up one of the worst games I have seen yet our deluded manager thought we controlled the 2nd half

It should not be at all but given not only the results but our general approach and pretty awful in game management over the last five games, it does make one wonder.
Hopefully we will do what we normally do and go on a 2 or 3 streak beating 'better' teams that will see us safe
However, if you take the last 5 games we are bottom. QPR have also won back to back games so the gap starts to close.
If we lose against Wednesday next weekend then the potential risk does increase
Mind you teams like Swansea are probably thinking the same

I think that AN's in-game tactical changes and substitutions have been pretty questionable throughout most of his reign here. Which is surprising really. Very disappointed with him in that respect When he came to us a Sunderland manager he changed them at half time and they went on to beat us and my Sunderland mate said that was one of his big positives Don't see it since he joined us

I was ok with the game plan albeit boring to watch
We could have even scored ourselves but it wasn't to be again
However when we decided to have a go we looked semi threatening.
But around 70 mins it was obvious we needed to make some subs and throw our hat in the ring but he didn't for some reason
What is the point in doing that in the 88th minute when the game has gone?
Poor stuff re in game management from Mr Neil

Someone just said 13 losses in last 19 games
A stat is a stat but when you see the same thing game after game one does begin to think yet again what the hell they are doing!
However you cut it shocking stuff.

Taken from Chris Lawton's (dad) post of Rafe Rafe was a big Stoke fan and I think that Chris's post says it all Thank you so very much for your support. This is the last bit to share on if you can, and to check everyone is on the same page…to remember My Treasure tomorrow - Especially in the 14th minute when/IF all goes well, the roof will be off The 365! For those interested and especially why - People will think what’s this all about…So here’s my smallest way of explaining the Hell my son endured through 16+ months of misery… My Son took ill with what would become an extremely rare rash at the end of Feb 22. This rash ravaged his body from top to tail, inside out, where Stevens-Johnson Syndrome TENS took hold. Then at the Alder Hey, the few weeks of ‘so called’ recovery from this condition, he suffered several infections where the doctors said he was ‘the sickest boy in the country’ nearly dying on several occasions. In Gods way 😂 he laughably started fo recover from this disgusting attack IE his skin started to recover, BUT not one drop of recovery from My Boy’s inner being! So having fought off infection after infection with a temperature on one occasion of 43.7 degrees, brain seizures, heart stopping moments and blood pressures extremities that were off the scale that required an induced coma….We were left with our beautiful son totally and so completely wrecked with his total nervous system wiped out. What followed was 14/15 months of an imprisoned boy who could do absolutely nothing for himself! NOTHING - No movement, blind, the car wreck of all car wrecks in Hell on a rainy day - That being Critical Illness Polyneuropathy - Translation…totally debilitated from head to toe but where he could still move his head and was regularly cognitively there from time to time reacting many times to my family and I with smiles. Sadly on the 4th July I had to let him go as God wasn’t listening and didn’t take advantage of the months I brought him in hope. Please share on in the name of my amazing son Rafe Lawton. And to clap the stadium roof off in the 14th minute X

Same as Norwich
What is the game plan!?
Are we a pressing side or an on the counter attacking side or just keep the ball plan?
Gayle I ask you. What a mess this managers mind is

No idea what his strategy is
No press
No attacking on the break
Lump it up to a busted flush with no one close to him
Obvious subs at half time
Very poor yet again
