yes but with more games his passing will improve whereas higgy will only ever hit it long down the line regardless how many games he play.

he can not be "dreadful". We would have spent 3 million+ if it was so well know that he was dreadful. I am sure we did the research.
All the real flops we have had are all in the 1-2 million bracket expect maybe oli.

unfortunately higgy can only kick it high down the line EVERY time, collins might be the future with our new passing stlye!

i do not think you can compare russell's player of the year from 5-6 years ago to collins getting it two years ago in the premiership.
All i am saying is dont write him off and get on his back just yet.

still player of the year and ahead of whitehead. Im not saying he is the answer just saying dont judge before he has a chance

According Captain Fishpaste (the resident Sunderland fan) Collins played most games for Sunderland at left back. And was cack. Player of the year two years running?

hes out of position, not had a decent run in the team and is still settling in. All im saying is give him time and then judge. Dont jump on his back too soon.

Like i say he wouldnt be player of the year at sunderland ahead of super dean if we had seen the best of him. I think we have seen about 50% of what danny collins is all about.

HUSTER. Thats my point. I think he will prove some people wrong and he needs time, just as whitehead did.

yes exactly. Most people thought whitehead was a shit centre midfielder, thats my point.

i thinks hes doing a good job out of position and maybe if ryan leaves him and huth could be a great partnership and he is still great backup in the middle in the meantime.
i agree with wilko but atleast collins will stay on the pitch for the 90 mins!

i think he needs a good run in team, like i say he was their pleyer of the year two premiership seasons running. You do not become a fans favourite for nothing especially as a defender.

you do not become a bad player over night, good to see you are behind the players!

I think people are being a bit quick to question the lads ability. I think he just needs time and we will turn out to be another great signing. Alot of people wrote whitehead off and now look at him.
Collins was voted Sunderland player of the year twice in a row and that was with Whitehead at the club.
I think we all need to trust in tone and he will come good...

i never said it was right play diao instead of whelan but iam saying what is the point of chanting whelans name?
Do you think TP will give in to a few people chanting whelans name and suddenly think he should put him on?

Post by itscoldatwork on Feb 9, 2010 21:36:11 GMT
beale what are you on about, did i at any point say diao is better than any other player?

what are you talking about, you said "bollox" twice in response. If you think that my message means "clap at all times" then that just goes to show the depth of your thinking

Post by itscoldatwork on Feb 9, 2010 21:32:43 GMT
trouserdog views where "bollox" thats not a view it is some dickhead thinking he is a big man.
i have only put my point across

Post by itscoldatwork on Feb 9, 2010 21:31:21 GMT
i do want the best team on the pitch but everyones best team for a certain situation is different, including TPs

Post by itscoldatwork on Feb 9, 2010 21:28:49 GMT
well done, that proves you must be right.
why bother commenting on a subject when you have nothing to say at all?
this is what makes this board crap, too many dickheads with nothing to say
|
|
|
Post by itscoldatwork on Feb 9, 2010 21:26:21 GMT
that is rubbish, why wouldnt i want our strongest squad out?
i just think it underminds the players on the pitch and the manager, plus it help build whelan up to some sort of superb human when he is average
makes me cringe whenever it happens
|
|
|
Post by itscoldatwork on Feb 9, 2010 21:21:00 GMT
so when whelan is on the bench (sat down) and certain fans sign his name, that is bollocks and it underminds the manager.
trouserdog your input is bollocks and meaningless
