Friday Day pass
No person anywhere. Four things placed on the wash basin: all organised and close to each other, the new white cloth, the metal plug and the dish brush. And the old cloth hanging on the faucet.
Some white washing powder on top of the two washing machines when I went back to collect my stuff. Worst problem was the stuff was still wet. And still are.
Nothing special to tell. Maybe next time.
This is non fiction.

Hi Big John Ritchie! Sweden's approach to this is to stop people from taking anything. The drug, any drug, is never a solution to anything. It should make sense, according to our experts. This topic btw is way down the list here nowadays. Their focus is on gang crime and war and peace instead. What makes cannabis a drug and caffeine not a drug out of interest? Or Vitamin B12 compared to thc? I can only answer what the Swedish experts and researchers say and what the guidelines are here. Cannabis is a drug, its eventual "good" effects are very doubtful. There might be a way to treat rare patients with some cbd, but it always contains some thc so it makes no good in the end anyway. "It's always best to let the experts on human bodies treat human bodies" is often heard in the debate. The ones saying cbd MIGHT have some good effects often simply lose their jobs or are ignored by their work mates here. So I never mention these things ... Caffeine is often described as - not an essential - but a welcoming nutritional component here. It's not considered as a drug, you can't compare the two, since the effect is much milder and quickly fading. They often point out the advantages in the form of cancer prevention and healthy to the vascular system. Overuse is no good though, they say. Edith: addition, alcohol btw is more and more presented as something with good health effects; as the only known help to prevent ALS, the dreadful neuro muscular disease. Thc they say has no positive good effects at all, it only disturbs and destroys the central nervous system. It's seen as poison. Vitamine B12? Well it's absolutely essential for the human nervous system and perhaps the only nutritional component that is very hard to get too much of. We have a right wing government and their support is steadily rising again. The main reason is the increased drug controls and the expanded visitation zones. Very welcomed among the people not being searched. No doubt the cultural origin drugs have contributes to what's accepted here. And in an upcoming post I will present what their guidelines comes from. The reason Sweden will be the last place on Earth to accept drugs.

Is it a full scale civil war in Russia yet? I got the news early today it had begun this morning, but I've been to work and haven't been able to follow it exactly. A two front war according to the initial reports. Initiated by a nazi right wing group consisting of both Ukraine and Russian citizens. They have occupied one smaller Russian town and some other areas. Is this false or true? Just desinformation or propaganda? Just got home. From what I have seen so far it’s the Siberia Battalion and a Battalion of Russian Volunteers opposed to Putin (Russian Freedom Fighters) they have engaged in fighting in the Bilhorod and Kursk region. Ok, this might be the beginning of what my mate has said all along, a civil war is coming up in Russia sooner or later, and he's not a bit worried about a large scale war in Europe.

I think we'll continue to completely waste £20 billion a year tbh 😡 If this is the cost (no matter where the number comes from or how it's calculated), what do you think the net profit from prohibition is?

Simplified example If person A gets a £2500 wage per month but the value of that work is only £600, then he/she is overpaid by £1900 - which is a societal cost. It would be much better to give the person only £1000, to do nothing. I think it's valuable that people work Maybe it'd be better if they kept the £1000 but could still do an extra £600 work and keep that cash. At least they'd realise the value of some of their money. I don't think private jobs do the thing where they pay £2500 for £600 value though. Absolutely! Work is character building and the harder the better. I must admit my previous post was a bit over simplified. And again, I can only speak for the Swedish labour market, which I know very well. I'm actually writing about the consequences we see from work. We have come to a situation where we can't afford to pay people if they work more on the margin. Therefore, one sector really growing in Sweden is the volunteer work. I know people who have gone from full time average paid work to volunteer work 40 hours per week instead (and economically relying only on the person they live with). Just to help the society, and to bring down the societal costs corresponding to having people paid for work. So being an immigrant in Sweden must be like .... Hell. If you do not work you'll get the blame for being a lazy b@stard and not willing to learn the language - and if you do work, you are the one to blame for taking the Swedes' jobs AND causing the societal costs corresponding to work payment to fly over the roof due to written agreements on the labour markets et cetera. When I mention "value" here, I don't mean the nominal value an indvidual or an individual company gets as a profit from that work, I'm talking about the societal eventual value from that work in a broader perspective.

Too many people work only to push the inflation upwards; their work's contribution to society is very doubtful. So if they didn't and instead got a lower societal benefit payment we could be better off. It needs thinking outside the box though.
Simplified example If person A gets a £2500 wage per month but the value of that work is only £600, then he/she is overpaid by £1900 - which is a societal cost. It would be much better to give the person only £1000, to do nothing.
The future will require part time job splits overall among the population. And AI isn't the only reason for it.
I can only speak for Sweden in detail, but the marginal value another working hour brings here has been negative for many years. So the more people we get, the worse it gets. EVEN if they work!!

The people from Sweden welcome the Nato entrance. One of the positive outcomes not mentioned that much yet is the contribution US military forces could bring in the fight against gangs and drugs, they've discussed it this week, to avoid a normalisation of wrong behaviour.
So far the law has changed so ordinary guards are already helping the police in their work and we have the opportunity to use our own military force as well.
US troops will not be permanently positioned in Sweden, but present on and off, and during these periods they can provide assistance.

Didn't it seem odd at the time that the people being arrested for cannabis weren't actually causing any issues apart from their drug of choice? Whilst people could freely use a substance that was causing major issues? Can you see where the Emperor's New Clothes analogy is used? Covered the age stuff above 🙂 Yea I get that....society and laws is far from logical.... hence my use of " hypocritical " I'm very much a pragmatist But Because of the " dangers" of all 3 drugs ( accepting your argument that cannabis is least dangerous) I can also understand that some people could argue that the logical thing to do is to ban all 3( and added sugar, many processed foods, etc etc) Rather than add to the number Hi Big John Ritchie! Sweden's approach to this is to stop people from taking anything. The drug, any drug, is never a solution to anything. It should make sense, according to our experts. Saw some comedian talking. Says a lot about Gen Z not giving a shit that it's worldwide news that one Swedish girl doesn't want her future fucked. Also that Gen Z knew they'd be the last one because they're the last letter, and they even called their app Tiktok. "Clock on the wall", by the Guess Who. Underestimated song.

The police first moved the protesting group including Greta Thunberg to another place (nearby probably). Then it took just another hour before they picked Greta and drove her to the police station, since she'd lost it completely.
I feel sorry for the woman. She has three diagnoses, Asperger's syndrome, OCD and selective mutism. Hard to understand if you not have it. I know a person with Asperger's. Those people have trouble reading faces. I admire her interest in just one certain topic. Sometimes it can get you stuck though.
I would meet her somewhere half way regarding her requests if we had a discussion eye to eye and were supposed to hypothetically solve the climate issues, but she needs to study some economics as well, I hope she does sometimes.

I don't use the tumble dryer, but I do use the drying room each time. What do they want? People to go in filthy clothes? I don't mind showing respect for Mother Nature, recycling the garbage and all that - but I think they forget the most important issues: the world population growth and some countries putting their garbage straight into the seas and oceans.
