I'd rather see us go for Akor Adams at Lillestrøm. He has scored regularly this season, is still young and will only increase his value. I'm almost certain a bid around £4M for him would make it very hard to resist for a club like Lillestrøm. Unproven at this level, but no health issues!

Dont get signing Travers on loan* unless we need the money that had been used to sign Sarkic to go towards another permanent signing. * only because the club have suggested their preference is permanent. Could we loan Travers and get a possible permanent deal included? A bit surprised we walked away from the Sarkic deal!

We should never have let Bursik go. That was certainly the right thing to do for the club. If people here say Bonham is shite I really wonder how they will describe Bursik!?

I can't remember to have watched him play, I probably have though, but as we offered £750K in January it certainly looks like this is a player Neil likes. I guess we'll bring in another central defender as well and rotate between Wilmot, Rose and the new one. I think Taylor will be sent out on loan again to get more playing time.

Why do they cut most of those highlights just as he's about to cross the ball? 😂 Needs to cut it when he falls over I guess!

For a centre back, if not Bayram, I'm going Ben Davies at Rangers, and that's purely for the fact he's ex Preston. ..and probably the best option out there for a club like Stoke?

Move a Gayle on and you've got £20k per week to play with. Even better so a swap deal with Gayle going the other way If only .........

Ok so we are saying sarkic and Johnson are signed? Have they? Sarkic is official, Johnson is not yet, as far as I can tell as of now. Is Sarkic really official?

Is that good or bad? It’s good. If you make a good argument I’ll change my mind. Very often the argument is name calling or in your case you like really terrible footballers but that’s fine because you articulate it well but I will never agree that they aren’t shit.

Whilst his wording was perhaps a little, erm, rich, you are indeed both Bayern. On a regular basis.🙄 What I do is rarely change my mind and that bothers people. That’s a you issue Is that good or bad?

Have you any data to back that up and that Stoke proportionately sign more over 27's than everyone else? Im not saying you are making it up and will stand corrected if the data shows that but admit ive never heard before that suddenly at 28 a large number of players have to retire because no-one will sign them. You've chosen to misrepresent what I've written above, so I'm not going to comment. A lot of clubs sign players older than 30 years old because they think these players will improve them as a team. I honestly think there are very few clubs who only sign players with a sell on value, they think can we afford this because it will benefit the team. I also think a lot of players in their thirties today are in better shape to prolong their careers far into the thirties.

I like Sarkic and think he is a good signing, but I really think people on this board are too negative when it comes to Bonham. I'd say he is a very decent NO 2, and I thought he had a lot of good games for us last season. I will even say he was much better than I expected, and certainly better than the youngster we sold to Belgium. Bonham is absolute dogshit. No, he isn't, but too many posters here are too black and white. He isn't a top goal keeper at this level, but he isn't hopeless either.

Pearson will still be 32 when his contract is up, and as a defensive midfielder or central midfielder you will only be better with experience. At 34-35 you might lose too much pace, but even then I believe most midfielders with a good head for football can do a decent job at this level. But who wants to buy a player that at that age has no sell on value? Only clubs like scfc have made such mistakes consistently. If we get one of the better midfielders in the Championship for four seasons for £1.5M + wages I think it's a very good deal for us without any resell value.

Still one of the better midfielders in the Championship. I don't question his ability. I question the wisdom of giving him a 4+possibly 1 more contract and I express my doubt that we can get rid of him, should he misfire or the manager be replaced by someone who doeesn't use a 6. Pearson will still be 32 when his contract is up, and as a defensive midfielder or central midfielder you will only be better with experience. At 34-35 you might lose too much pace, but even then I believe most midfielders with a good head for football can do a decent job at this level.

If we get a manager who can't see the quality of Pearson then God help us! I'm sure they can see his potential, but also his potential for trouble. It's gone hand in hand with his career so far and is one of the reasons why he's spent it well below his quality. Still one of the better midfielders in the Championship.

My god he's 28 n your talking like he's done...if you listened to Neil and what kind of players he wants he mentions wanting experienced championship players who know how to win with a mixture of younger players with a point to prove... nothing up with Pearson imo I don't think Neil's going to be scfc manager 12 months from now - he could be gone even sooner. Then if the next manager doesn't fancy Pearson, what are we going to do with a late 20s player on a 4+1 year contract that has no sell on value? If we get a manager who can't see the quality of Pearson then God help us!

Uğur Karakullukçu: "Stoke City's offer for Emin Bayram is 1+7 million euros. So if he went to Stoke City and was successful, he would be transferred for €8 million. Okan Buruk said that this offer should be rejected." (Karakullukçu Youtube) This deal if it’s happening has the feel of chasing down a blind alley. I'd rather see us pay £2.5M for Sanderson.

If he is so good that he will be a regular starter that makes us a better team fine, unsless I can't see the point in signing him on a loan deal at all.

We'll come out of it really well - abusing someone who broke his leg isn't a great look and no one will want to listen the the back story. Yeah because being a Football supporter is all about being liked and appreciated by those who don’t support your club. Ramsey was an arsehole in the aftermath of that tackle and snubbed Ryan’s attempts to apologise for the damage he accidentally caused. Fuck Ramsey and Fuck Arsenal. I've seen the tackle many times and I really don't think it was such a bad tackle, just unlucky he broke his leg. If not it hardly deserved a booking at all. It was not with his studs up or anything like that.

If Ty doesn't want to sign a new contract and there is a decent bid in for him, and I mean DECENT, then we really have no choice, do we? What is a decent offer for Campbell with 11 months left on his contract though? It doesn't seem a sustainable model for Champ clubs to let assets walk away on free transfers in the FFP age If Everton could sell Simms for £8M+ I think we should ask for something similar.

Would ne very stoke to seek Campbell nearing full fitness after 2 years and replace him with Stewart who is probably 18 Months from being the same player if he ever is . If we song Stewart its got disaster witte all over it see Owen , Axel , woodgate , etc etc If Ty doesn't want to sign a new contract and there is a decent bid in for him, and I mean DECENT, then we really have no choice, do we?
