The problen is they are ripe for development by new owners. They have a big ground and the lot wouldn't cost much. We have seen money buy success in the past, Arab money put Man C where they are, likewise US for Manure and Russian for Chelski. Could turn out to be the opposite of what a lot of people wished for. Bit of a difference between the Mans city & Utd and Chelsea and...Port Vale! The 3 first named were big clubs before the foreign money anyway but really doubt many people outside England knows much about or where they are based, or even heard of Port Vale. Having said that, with me not being from the potteries I think I would be bad if they dropped from the league as all clubs need a poor neighbour to have a dig at and its even more interesting when in the same division.

Retrospective view regarding middle east, as with many people initially I thought Saddam Hussein needed toppling but then the extremist problem escalated, as with Libya, Syria etc. UK should stick to getting involved only if it directly affects us.

Do you think Britain shouldn't have stepped in to help countries invaded by Germany in ww2? Don't think you would have if you don't even think our own territories are worth defending. I'd rather tax payers money go to those islands than help pay to look after lazy idle scroungers. Havent you said previously that we shouldn't have got involved in the middle east? Why is that any different to stepping in when Germany were acting the tool? Rather different isn't it when France is the nearest country to us and it was clear Hitler wanted to have ago at Britain eventually. You appear very argumentative.

Saw Lineker's tweet earlier If the FA do clamp down how will this affect SCFC with Bet365 being such a big part to our overall brand image these days? It would like banning gambling at horse racing! Football second most popular sport for having a bet.

could mr harris of taken it to the charity shop? I was thinking maybe he got it in Europe somewhere and brought it here, I was baffled at # 7, was trying to remember when Pennant signed and who had the the number before him. Its a Premier league shirt because my Fuller one has the same style of number / letters More likely from someone's washing line in Biddulph or elsewhere!

Sounds like a recipe for ethnic cleansing - against christian British. Be a true Christian and forgive them then. You seem to get thicker every time you post. Well done! Usual flak of name calling folk who have different views to you, hope you had a good "formerly known as Easter" holiday!

The young Muslims born here (class themselves as British purely for the benefits, but hate our armed forces and many of our traditions)are the ones being brainwashed because the elders allow it. It needs a spread of cultures and religions and not to be almost all Muslims coming here. Sharia law which is being practiced here is the start of ethnic cleansing because they are ignoring the proper law of the country, also mass births outnumbering other religion births will also lead to it.

its just one mans [mine] opinion and i knew i would get a fair bit of flak, but i still dont see any reason where we can lay claim to land outside the british isles? we gave back hong kong. i would rather we handed them back to the nearest country [argentina/spain] for free than have another life lost in a futile war. Do you think Britain shouldn't have stepped in to help countries invaded by Germany in ww2? Don't think you would have if you don't even think our own territories are worth defending. I'd rather tax payers money go to those islands than help pay to look after lazy idle scroungers.

what do we the british taxpayer get from hanging on to these british territories? 1] the falklands its ridiculous to cling onto a little rock thousands of miles away.thatcher used it to boost her popularity at the cost of many lives from both sides.[2] gibralter is in spanish waters are we going to start another war for a tiny piece of rock? i would suggest if the inhabitants want to continue to live as britts then they relocate to this sceptered isle. Think about the folk who live and were born there, why should they move here? It belongs to Britain yet if someone says foreigners living here should locate back to their country of origin folk go bonkers. By the way, our forces defended the place from an Argentine invasion, it wasn't Thatcher's plan to boost her image. Would you say the same about Churchill?

Walking through Lechlade today, had a couple of p!$t up boneheads wish me, "Happy St George's Day" Didn't fill me with great joy Don't worry you'll have Ramadan to enjoy later in the year, no doubt you'd have been joyful if you bumped into a couple of paddies on St.Patricks day. Everything English seems shit to some folk.

Can't afford to keep giving players chance after chance to prove themselves. We need a big clear out and plenty of good signings and a in the summer and a good start to next season or its bye bye Hughes.

They need to make a North Wembley (and not that vale park shit), a real stadium in Manchester for just this scenario then flip a coin for semis fucking disgusting favoritism there. The new wembley should have been in the middle maybe oxford - fans could go on a long weekend- friday- morse tour, saturday- visit a university and sunday - real ale tour then match A uni visit and a Morse tour? That will really get the footy fans flocking to Oxford won't it. Can't beat London for the tourist thing but only final should be there. I'd say semi's should always be Old Trafford and Newcastle. Let the southerners do the trekking for a change.

In boothen yesterday we had 2 different groups at each end singing different songs so that doesn't help. But its mainly down to seating not helping for an atmosphere as when grounds had terracing it was easier for the singers to gather together.

I live in the Bradford area so think I know and have seen how many Muslims behave. I didn't say all Muslims agree with I.s. or that they're all bad but there's a big difference in how they get along with everybody compared to most Indians or afro Caribbeans in the area. So the answers are 1)0 2) No You said "the "real" muslims are doing naff all about these terrorists coming through their mosques..." I showed you that in fact they are and you just ignored that and said you think you know because you live in Bradford. Pointless debating if you ignore the facts and just make your own mind up based on what you have seen despite you knowing no Muslims to talk to. Says it all. As I've mentioned on here a few times before, I live next door to some who stopped their young girls playing with my young son and put a great big fence up and became unfriendly towards us so wrong there. Also where us the facts that they are outing potential extremists? Also it needs to be done on a mass scale.

These bombs Are to do with "real" Muslims as that's how these terrorists started out. Also the "real" muslims are doing naff all about these terrorists coming through their mosques or communities. They never seem to be upset or angry that these things are happening. how many Muslims do you know Wood? how many mosques have you visited? Most of the intelligence that has helped us stop catastrophic bombs in our country recently has come from whistle blowers in Mosques. I fully expect you to just skip over the last sentence as it doesn't fit in with what you want to believe. I live in the Bradford area so think I know and have seen how many Muslims behave. I didn't say all Muslims agree with I.s. or that they're all bad but there's a big difference in how they get along with everybody compared to most Indians or afro Caribbeans in the area.

I think you're all daft to get wound up about stickers on cars - surely you are concentrating too much on trying to read the message rather than general road conditions?! If someone pointed out to you when you're wearing a Stoke top that they didn't give a shit what you followed you wouldn't be too happy. Each to their own. Kids usually like these sort of things anyway. If I'm sat behind one of these plebs in traffic which particular road conditions should be preventing me from looking at the rear window of their car? Regarding the Stoke shirt analogy, why would someone point it out? And why would I care what they thought? They probably don't care what you think of their stickers as I say each to their own.
