I agree. Only counted two mistakes from him, one being that dodgy cross in the first half and he sloppily gave possession away in our half in the second half. That was all though. No lapses in his marking, just good, solid defending.

Dicko deserves a place in the team if only for the way he celebrates a win ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

With Delaps booking doesn't he miss the next game? In this case, keep Dicko in and play Pugh in the middle with Whelan.
Don't ask what I'd do when Delap has served his ban ???

his distribution could be better some times, but he is getting better with every game. Whelan was top class today!

Thought midfield and the back four played better today than of late, but would like to se them defending further up field and close teams down a bit more.

i think Dicko is absolute quality. He plays like every stoke fan would if we were lucky enough to pull on those red and white stripes

When Delap is suspended I'd put Pugh alongside Whelan in centre midfield as foxy suggests. TP should take the chance to try a different permutation. Dicko won't let us down at left back. Defensively he is sounder than Pugh although Pugh's distribution is much better than Dicko's is at the moment.
Edit: hopefully, Sinclair or AN Other will be wide left by then.

spot on mate.
He goes for the full on crunching tackle when he sees fit and plays with much more determination than Pugh. He also injures and scares quite a few opposing players like Rozenhal, Haynes, Norris etc

Dicko is a throwback to the old days... If you want to know what a full back was like in the days we pulled our weight in the top flight at the back, look no further thank this bloke...
Top man, top Stokie, what the real game is about...

Has improved immensly and really is an out and out defender. Not much appears to get past the lad as he sticks to opposing players like glue.
