Looks bad... must be bad if they won't replay it as it may offend!
Best of luck to the lad... hope he plays again.

It's a real shame because he's done really well for Arsenal this season. Could it scupper their chances of winning the title???

From The Guardian
21 min: Apologies for not watching the football for a couple of minutes - it's basically a training session anyway - but I've just seen a picture of Taylor's challenge, and it is completely and utterly disgraceful. Flying through the air studs up, he lunges in halfway up the shin of Eduardo's standing leg. The striker's leg clean snaps at a right angle; no wonder Fabregas was holding his head in his hands the minute he saw it. It's going to be an ethical dilemma for sports editors across the country, is this picture.

It all seems to have knocked the stuffing out of Arsenal. They look lethargic.

"Arsenal have confirmed that Eduardo has broken the lower part of his left leg and is now in hospital, where they will take a decision very shortly on whether to operate," said 5 Live's Ian Brown. Poor lad, sounds same as rory's? So you can come back, good luck to him. BBCah

Broke my leg through an accidental late tackle a few years ago. The crack was loud enough to stop our game, and the one on the next pitch - was hoping it was the shin-pad but no such luck.
Was lucky as the break was diagonal and in danger of slipping through the skin. The first aid 'specialist ' in the team had a look, pulled at it a bit, said either it was "broken" or I was "a complete girl". Luckily, it was a break.
Having been through months of physio, sweating buckets when crawling up and down stairs, etc, etc - wouldn't wish it on anyone - even Ronaldo.

Birmingham lad will be lucky if he only gets 3 games; a bit over the top is that.
Is same place as rory's though ... so he might only miss a year.
(only managed the first picture linked above - cheers jeffers - I can imagine rest from there ...)
