There is so much resting on every game, I feel sick to the bottom of my stomach every time I watch the potters. Last week I couldn't make the Scunthorpe game so had to make do with watching the scores come up on the tinter net and receiving texts from mates, God it was agony, I could never do that again. Just the thought of us fucking it up now is too much to bear, whats it going to be like come April and May????? In my heart of hearts I know we'll do it but Christ it's making me ill worrying about the sucker punch Stoke always fall for. Most supporters of other clubs would love to be in our position but 30 years of being a Stokie tells me not to get too carried away, but I can't help it. We've got a fantastic team that can and WILL win promotion, I just wish I could enjoy it. I can't wait for 3 pm but I wish it was 5 pm.

why watch the scores come in if you have the web, get the commentry on .
as for the stress factor and so much riding on the games , what you'd rather a few seasons of mid-table fuckery ?

I can empathise Mark, I feel the same. Daring to dream with the fear of fucking it all up is hard work. However ID is right, its a lot better than mid table drudgery. Such is the drug that is SCFC.

mate i feel the same, every game i think we may slip but then the boys just go and get the job done.
At the end of the day if we all keep getting to the games and lifting our boys with our collective voices I dont think we have that much to worry about.
GOARN STOKE!!!

What you have to think is, last year ,before the QPR match, getting to the playoffs would have been MASSIVE for this football club. If we drop out of the automatic slots this time, and settle for the playoffs, i for one won't be too disappointed.

The only bit I've enjoyed recently is half-time in the Southampton game.
As soon as the second half started, I needed to pop the old brown pants back on.
