well there's the 2 old dears with the scarf's n badges and a fella in his mid 20's on crutch's that should get special mentions as you always see them at away games , and its a lot more effort for them than it is for the vast majority of us

Took the words right out of my mouth, Dave. The two old dears have been going to every single game come rain or shine seemingly forever. As for that lad, I saw him at the Molineux and my hat goes off to him - top Stokie.

There is a bloke, he must be in his 60s now, perhaps 70s, as Ive been seeing him since the mid 70s at away games. He has a peculiar habit of being VERY early and can often be found near the official entrance of the ground. He ALWAYS wears a Stoke City coat and has a big beard and looks like he was once very handy indeed.
QPR on a Friday, Newcastle on a Wednesday, Plymouth, Pompey .... the fucker is always there.
Fair play Mr.
He is also very big and evidently likes a pint.

Zigger is always there and likes to go to the players entrance before the game but he does not have a beard. He wears a Stoke coat and a baseball cap and does not walk as well as he used to but will not miss a game. He will indeed be at Preston

Zigger always used to sit in the front row of the Boothen Stand near the tunnel. He used to stick his half time cupper on the wall and knocked it off one day all over the blokes in the Boothen Paddock.
I can tell you he was called quite a few names that day anmd I dont remember Zigger being one of them.
Unusual name is Mr Cunt

When I first saw this thread, I thought it was about a kind of "change face" that you don on away trips when there's a home supporter who looks like you.

Paul/Banbury
I'm down from the NE for the Preston game. Meeting a lad called Pete who posts on here as OwdeStokie, he lives in the NE too but is travelling up from Stoke.
I'm in Preston from c330pm and intend to find a decent boozer for snappin and ale.
I dont expect there to be choice of pubs we had at Charlton.
PM if you know anywhere decent we can meet. Be good to be in company before the game.
Dave

I think the shorts man is from the south (no southern softie!) I'm sure Monica knows him (surreystokie) Theres loads of familiar faces when you go to all the away games you tend to always see the same familiar faces every week whether we're good. bad, top league. third tier, promotion. relegation or mid table nothingness you KNOW the regulars will be there! Love em all!
