Being reading about Scott Sinclair on Wikipeadia, it says that Leicester tried to sign him This Feb 08, but Chelsea rejected the deal, because they wanted him to go out on loan to a club near the top of the Championship !! read into that what you want, but sounds to me as though the prospects of him coming look very good

Charlton were really strongly linked with him last week though - and he wouldn't have to move house.
I suppose we'll see tomorrow where he ends up when this 93-day thing clicks 'round.
Charlton set to seal loan move for Chelsea youngster Scott Sinclair 11/02/2008
Chelsea starlet Scott Sinclair is set to sign for Alan Pardew's promotion-chasing Charlton in a loan deal for the rest of the season.
The exciting left-wing prospect will be allowed out by Avram Grant to get first-team experience after flirting with the quadruple-chasing squad recently.
Sinclair - just back from a loan spell at QPR - is being pushed towards Charlton by his advisers despite rival interest from Leicester City and Burnley.
The teenage talent would be a major asset for Pardew in his bid to bounce back to the Premier League and Sinclair may also be keen to stay in the London area. Advertisement
It will be a blow to Leicester chief Ian Holloway, who wanted to take Sinclair after having him in a successful stint at Plymouth last season.
And Burnley chief Owen Coyle has also asked for Sinclair, whose wing trickery could have been the missing link in his play-off chasing plans.

Crikey- Sinclair really would be one to send us over the edge. ;D
There's be a few disappointed people on the bench though, if he played wide left. And he's very attacking for a Pulis winger, isn't he?
He could fill in for Fuller up front during his ban too!

However, Chelsea rejected the loan offer because they want Sinclair to sign for a club which is near the top of the Championship table.
Dam, that rules us out then. Oh to be near the top.....
;D

He certainly looks an exciting player on the showing of those highlights. I know Holloway rated him highly at Plymouth but when they played us he didn't look too special. That goal against Pompey is quality (it's worth noting one of the players who goes past is Linvoy Primus)- karma for anyone who can tell me where the game is being played

Can you imagine him and Fuller breaking on you after a corner has been cleared?

(not that i have a clue like ;D)
As Chelski are away, it must be "Pompey way" & as it BS Prem, my guess would be Havant & Waterlooville's ground (just up the road on top of the hill from portsmouth)?
Don't know the name of the ground tho' & can't be arrised phoning my bro who lives there.

He would be a great addition to our ranks, his pace and quality ball control could add that little bit of extra quality to push on..

All these links with quality players like Fulop and Sinclair are bloody ace.
Looks like we're actually in a position to give it one final push to try and cement automatic promotion.

Chelsea have had approaches from 4 Championship teams for Sinclair, and we are one of them

So if that Mirror report's right, Charlton and Burnley are 2 of the others.
But haven't Charlton already got a fast left winger on loan in Lee Cook?
And he ain't going to go to Burnley, is he?
