We need to meet up for a chin-wag soon, Thursdays good for people?
Also, i'm guessing a lot of us are going to Preston, fancy sharing some lifts?

good call, Thursdays are usually fine with me..though this Thursday might ( undecided at the moment) go down to Stoke for the meet the chairman thing
Preston I'll be driving from work in Stockport...but happy to give anyone a lift back after the game ...
Joe We got it off the ground a year or two back....strictly informaly , though a while since we met up as a group for a beer...was probably 6-8 that would meet up for a beer, though there are probably twice that number in the area.

Other than at school once when me and a couple of Everton mates bunked on their special to stoke ..( told my dad i just going out to play !! ) only time I've brought an Everton fan down was when we played Wimbledon years ago on a friday night at the Vic when they really did play hoof ball....that and offside a yard in their half, stoke took the view well two can play at that game.. 0-0 and one of if not THE worst match I've ever seen anywhere..needless to say he didn't come again..

Hey up folks. In general Thursday's would be ok for me but not this one. Also not going to be able to make Preston (unless I can get back from Venice for the night ). So pissed off when Pompey got the late goal. Let me know if we are going to meet up - usual place (Dr Duncan's for those who've not been before)? LS

I'm not based in Liverpool but have to go there for a conference on 27 February, staying over the night before.
So as you can imagine I'll be missing the pre-conference drinks schmooze and be nipping up to Deepdale ;D planned to go by train as I'm based in city centre so might see you on the 18 something from Lime St
I live down south and don't get to many night games so this is a right treat.

As richard says in his message I've had some e-mail replies and the 6th March at Dr Duncan's looks like a runner. I'll re-post around that time but any other Merseyside based Stokies are welcome to come along - including of course LiverpoolStokie1 who is not me but it would be good to meet him finally ;D!
