Real Football Factories "LIVE" Update and Guests

Since our first posting on here things have developed quite nicely.
We have Mark Chester "Jasper" and Andy Nicholls from Everton confirmed as guest speakers /presenters and an interesting and informative format developed for the actual evenings.

Some of you immediately took the view that this concept was about the encouragement and gloryification of hooliganism...I can inform you that this preconception is way off the mark.

The events are about addressing such concerns and questioning the whole culture. This is not a propaganda excersise more an invitation for football supporters to learn the truth and to have open and uncensored access to people such as Mark and Andy who can openly and honestly answer questions and concerns surrounding the culture...they can do this because for over 25 years they were leading figures within this culture.
This is a unique opportunity to have your say to them and to have an honest reply and not one that is sensationalised by the media and press.

We have been invited to discuss this concept with Universities within the U.K. with the possibility of taking the Real Football Factories "LIVE" to campus. This is because Mark and Andy regularly help and advise students in work on dissertations regarding Sociology , Criminology etc.
Both these men are intelligent and articulate communicators and are willing to be frank , open and honest with their contributions to the events.

We start the evenings with a short film which contains previously unseen footage of interviews and in depth discussions with Mark and Andy and other guests, A meal and commemorative programme are also available.

Music and Poetry from the culture are included and a Talk and Presentation from Mark and Andy...followed by a completely uncensored question and answer session. Both will be available afterwards for less formal discussions as they socialise amongst the audience.
Interest in this culture and lifestyle is massive...like it or not...and most of you have your opinions...this is a chance to voice those opinions and get your questions answered...

I can assure you that both men are indeed intelligent and articulate communicators.
Mark in particular has written literature of dissertation standard......

As for money!!!! I can assure you that it is the so called academic experts such as Eric Dunning and John Williams at Leicester University who have made the money....Both Mark and Andy currently work monday to friday the same as the majority of us.

The academics have been funded to the hilt for research projects and have published a pletherer of books and papers...and travelled the world lecturing on hooliganism.
Yet none of them has actually consulted the people , such as Mark and Andy, on whom their research is supposed to be based!!!!!

Football Facrories "LIVE" gives an opportunity to redress the balance and to address the issue head on with those who were there...... Not academics who have merely watched and read about it.

Interesting points and questions .... exactly the kind of debate we would want at the events.

I stand by my statement that both men are intelligent and articulate.... certainly well enough equipped to answer your points. You obviously feel strongly enough to take the time to make the points now.... So why not come to an event and get your point accross there...thats what it is all about, and you will even be fed and entertained while you do it.

As I was attempting to get back to my car after the Wolves match I was having to dodge flying stones and bottles, why, because moronic little chavs who think they are hard want to take over the mantle from the hooligans of the 1980's. Whilst these evenings may not be aimed at gloryfying hooliganism and criminals, the problem is, that some will attend and hear the stories and want to reinact the same.

The problem with reformed characters, is that they forever carry around the noteriety with them, surely they would want to stay out of the public spotlight rather than putting themselves in situations where they constantly go over their criminal activities.

monkey, is'nt that the same of all criminal elements ?, but what you fail to forget is that is what actually happened in the 70/80's, it WAS a way of life, surely that is part of history and culture that existed like it or not, just as were mods and rockers, lsd, speed, all nighters, northern soul, and lots lots more, just because you get a few pricks throwing bricks its not to say they will be encouraged by going to listen of what happened, i do not in any way shape or form condone violence at ANY football game, i take my daughter to home and away games now, so i want it as safe as possible, but in the seventies i was sharpening my kung fu stars with thousands of others, i grew up and left it behind.....where the f**k am i going with this....

When is this event, where, and how much for a ticket? I am not a hooligan in any shape or form but as I have a keen interest in sociology I believe this would be a great evening to go and become educated.
