Hellu! If Stoke reach the Premier league, the following players might be of interest, according to me: Keeper - Steele [Barnsley] Left defender - Paul Robinson [West Bromwich Albion] Left defender/midfielder - Hreidarsson [Portsmouth] Central defender - Higginbotham [Sunderland] Right defender - Hoefkens [West Bromwich Albion] Midfielder - Gravesen [Everton] Left winger - McIndoe [Bristol City] Forward - David Healy [Fulham] I like these players, and think they would be within reach for the club. To attract players from Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal et cetera might be difficult. milk and sandwich//:musik

The best strikers in this league I have seen are Phillips and Fuller...and not just because of the goal scoring stats.
I was just looking at skill, speed of thought and ability to change games...Special.!!

Haynes from the Tractor boys is a tidy player, Gera from Brazil too.

From this league I think we wouldn't do much worse than sign Ishmael Miller. To think we could have bought him for about 1.5m! Absoloutely gutted that West Brazil snatched him up for this ridiculusly low price. I'm convinced he will play for england at some point too. Norris would be good back up for Liam too.

I'm not surprised that Steele of West Brom/Barnsley gets a mention - he was excellent against Liverpool, bar one mistake which wasn't punished. Certainly far too good to stay in the Baggies reserves next season. I wonder who will buy him?

I reported on the Baggies v Stoke reserve match.
Steele was hopeless. He let 2 Sweeney 'shots' go in off his body. Yes, he played well at Anfield but he needs consistency before being a possible signing for a Prem side.
He was deemed not good enough for Man Utd and Coventry, and seemingly Brazil
As for the others. Miller we would have to pay a highly inflated price but Gera is a great shout. Gravesen is on loan to Everton from Celtic and could well be obtainable (Sheff Utd were fairly close to getting him in the summer)

Herman Hreidarsson - relegating clubs since 1998.
(Palace, Wimbledon, Ipswich, Charlton - no doubt the curse will strike Portsmouth next season!)
