I looked up Jimmy Greenhoff's goal at Brum in 1975. It was the best goal I ever saw him score. I was there in the Birmingham 'end'- then the long side facing the cameras, and got a good kick up the arse for my trouble when i went mental. Still one of the best Stoke goals ever. Even many of the Brummies applauded. Greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeenhoff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I salute you.
Sidders has put this on Youtube, and I haven't got a scooby how to get it on here.
Check out the expression on the tea lad's face. He's the bloke carrying what looks like a crate on his back. He's mouthing something like " oh for fucks sake".

Pick that ***ker out! Jimmy scored a good few spectacular goals in his time and that was as good as any. Tended to do well with his back to goal, quick turn and BANG into the back of the net. Thanks for the link.
great goal, the chest, turn and strike are all awesome and exquisitely done. the ball doesn't touch the floor from being chipped up, flicked on (ian moores?) and landing in the net.
wow what a goal i love those old clips, whats amazing is the smiles of the applauding fans......all he would have got now would have been a volley of abuse from some crazed chav giving him the wanker signs!

In that case you'd better worship the ground at Sants distribution centre on Wolstanton retail park, because that's where Jimmy mow ply's his trade on the night shift!

As long as he's happy doing what he's doing then best of luck to him. Should be given the freedom of the City of Stoke on Trent for services to football and the pleasure he brought to the thousands of the city's inhabitants.
His like will be never seen again in a Stoke shirt.
I remember the first time he came back to the Vic with manure and there were a few boo's going around the Boothen as they warmed up. I wanneravinit. So I started "Greeeeeeeeeeeeenhooooooooffff" from "My Place" at the back of Boothen end and I'm glad to say the left side took it up and the right side took it up and the great man applauded us. Well it wer'n't his fault he went, was it?
