Dunno if already been posted.
Potters loan fledglings to Leek Unibond Premier League club Leek Town have taken three youngsters from Championship leaders Stoke City on work experience - and another is on the way. Leek assistant manager Paul Ogden has signed defenders Jack Watson and Kenny Keys and striker Dean McCormick.
Central defender Andrew Owens is due to link up with his team mates this week.
The quartet, who have all played reserve team football for Stoke this season, will remain at Leek now for the rest of the season.

kenny keys is a smallish wingback/winger. Andy Owens was the youth team skipper and is very commanding. Jack Watson is a left back who played for Staffordshire with me and has abit of pace. Dean Mccormack is a nippy striker.
I cant understand why stoke havent let thorley, grocoot, phillips go out?
These 3 are the BETTER players in the squad.
Maybe keeping them back for reserve team football.

Good luck to Jack at Leek, hope it goes well for him. My missus is related to him so it would be good to see him make a career in football.

It is good to see Stoke helping out the local clubs by doing this. In my eyes, none of these players will ever make the grade at Stoke.
Watson- doesn't quite know where his best position is. Sometimes plays in defence, other times upfront. A long way off making it as a pro I would say
Keys- A little lad who generally plays in midfield but can do a job at right back. Bets out of the group
McCormick- Fast striker but misses too many chances
Owens- Scouser who talks well in the heart of defence but perhaps should concentrate on his game a bit more.
Good luck to all of them and to Leek Town too

I'm certain Jack has been informed he won't be offered Pro terms at the end of the season.
I'm not sure about the others involved but it is certainly a good shop window for the lad if I am correct.

Knowles has hit the nail on the head i think.
Don't get me wrong i wish them all the best. But to be honest i don't think Jack will make it as a pro unfortunately. I hope he proves me wrong. Keys definately has the best chance, out of those four. As for the other 2 - same as knowles.
They will probably be similar to matt hazely. They will go out on loan, probably get released at the end of the season, and end up playing for leek. (Hazely went to Stafford Rangers).
I would assume that the likes of thorley, and co will spend the rest of this season in the reserves, playing with and against better players. the likes of parkin, buxton, demar would get into most league 1 sides.
