I don't want to be a pessimist here however West Brazillian were writing on their sight just 2 weeks ago on who was going to be coming 2nd behind them. They are now down too 4th and going through a dodgy patch. Tony has managed to coax the team into a fantastic run with just 1 loss in 17 games but am sure we're going to go through a sticky patch at some point. I hope I'm wrong and looking at the forthcoming fixtures our run in isn't difficult so, just maybe we can do it. I bloody hope so.

Whenever I think about this I begin to emit strange and uncontrollable noises which are best described as squeaks and then I have to sit down for a bit.

I dunno. We have quite a tricky few away games coming up. Still. We are better then everybody else.

In the 18 years I've been alive I don't think I've ever felt this good about Stoke before! Come on Stoke make my dreams come true and get to the top flight for the first time in my life! ;D

Kidsgrove,
23 years ago, May 17th to be precise, was the last time I saw us play top flight football.
At 18, I salute you and countless other fellow Stokies that have gone through this long absence without prior experience of us in the big time.
It really looks like we are close to a return to the promised land.......
Through thick and thin, Stoke City will always be who we are....... no matter how good or bad.........we stick with it and right now, it sure feels good!
Long may it continue....
Keep the faith

I'm another one who's always grown up with the perception that we're really a lower league club, but it feels really strange, it feels like we're coming home, even though I've never seen us in the top flight either.

It is the time for everyone to stick together and believe. Friday was a prime example. 2-0 down, we roared the lads on and we turned it round. It will be a rollercoaster finish to the season. A game is 90 minutes long (OK, sometimes 95 minutes long, just ask Palace) so it aint over til it's over This is our time. I have believed we have had the strength for automatic promotion for a while now. This league is fairly weak and we must take advantage. It is our best chance in my lifetime, please make it happen Stoke As Tony said, supporters are essential in getting us up. Make sure you turn up to as many home and away games as possible and help cheer on the lads. If we are losing, don't boo. Encourage. It can only help Come on you Potters!!!

on friday we really looked like a promotion winning team. we were absolutely electric in the second half and blitzed scunny. last season being 2 goals down at half time to a team like them we would have definitley lost.

Like I`ve said before on this MB, we have had our bad game. Second half v. Soton and first half v. Scunny!!!!!!!

Everything is possible now, it's all down to us. I didn't think so a few months ago but I really believe that promotion is possible now.
