At the Southampton game, had a few folk near me harping on about part-time supporters. Such phrases banded around included: "Lot of bloody part-timers here" - "bloody hell the part-timers are actually singing". Hmm, these people have an obvious gift that should not be ignored - they are able, and stick with me, to identify how many games a supporter attends by just looking at them.
These guys should really be in the market research industry. Was hoping these keen eyed spotters might do everyone a favour and shove a sock or pie in their mouth for the Scunthorpe, game, but alas, they did not, 7.40pm - bang - it started again - "Where have all these part-timers come from?" etc.
Why do supporters feel the need to try and put themselves in an elitist group? Yes, I know you went to a few away games chaps, you talked about it loudly enough. - "Remember Wolves?" Well it was only a matter of days ago, so if one of your comrades had forgotten he should probably consult a doctor.
I love seeing the Brit full with fans enjoying themselves. Shame not everyone shares such a view.

There is no place for elitism in this world. Not by your common or garden working class man anyhow

Come on....it is a bit annoying when you have people barging past you left, right and centre because they can't find their seat and people congregating on the aisles searching for their seat.
Then people decide to park in the most ridiculous places possible, and then they mess everything up on the south car park after the game, because they don't know whats going on.

take solice in the fact that it isnt all the regulars who have the same opinion.
Joe - that cant be their fault can it, if the infrastructure in and around the ground cant cope with an influx of fans and provide adequate parking, seating information etc etc then someone else has to take the blame.

Joe, I would prefer to be barged around then be in a half-empty stadium. I couldn't afford a season ticket at the start of the campaign but pretty much go every game which involves sitting somewhere different pretty much every game, so at times, I may not look like I know where I'm going as I peer at my ticket stub and find my seat.
If we had 20,000 season ticket holders I could guarantee you would have people barging past you and their cars would be left in all sorts of places. It depends if you want a packed stadium or not. I know what I'd prefer.
And Joe, I'm not having a pop at you with my response, I'm just expressing my opinion on things. This MB becomes the place of slanging matches, and I am not one of those posters.

Yes its great having the fullish ground and atmosphere, but I was just highlighting the irritants.
falkez - Sorry, but the seats have the row number on them. How hard is it to open your eyes, read the ticket and row number and walk into the right row. Then looking at your ticket once more and finding the seat number. Then looking at the seat and sitting in the right one. Hardly rocket science is it?
How hard is it to purchase a car park ticket and park correctly???
How hard is it to drive out of a car park and not block it all up???

joe, the club are trying to encourage fans back to the game and they have made some great gestures to make sure they do. Maybe if you tried a bit harder yourself to help those fans who are not so familiar with the seating arrangements then it can only support the fact that Stoke can be and is a great club to follow for the fans as well as the team.

neutron1 - I'm not having a go at people who are not ST holders.
It would be great if we got 28,500 every week, but people could just use their heads a bit more and have a few more manners.
I don't mind people barging past, but people constantly walking through the rows fussing and sitting in wrong seats does get annoying.

Well I don't know about you Dodgy Dino, but I don't particularly enjoy the experience of waiting around on the car park for ages after the match.
falkez - I really don't understand how hard it is to find the correct seat and sit in it. Seems really straight forward to me.

joe, my point is, it isnt easy getting to the ground, let alone getting out? As soon as you walk through the turnstyles, especially last night, youre met with a wall of supporters. Try navigating to your seat when theres more than one of you to look out for. Maybe the stewards could have done more to help, you see one maybe two at exit points but none in the stands helping some more.
This is a bit tedious now, were all stokies joe so enjoy it while it lasts.

I would only attend 6-8 games a season, but considering I travel from Dublin and back for every game, then this over the year would well be over the cost of a season ticket for Stoke!!
So am I classed as a part time supporter????

It just amazes me at some posts on here.Never ever stop moaning, winghing and frigging moaning about anything and everything. people are pushing past me why cant they find the right seat the car parks too full why dont they get a season ticket. need i go on,its bloody pathetic, half empty glass again.get a life and enjoy your life and celebrate stoke being promoted without moaning.the next post if stoke are promoted will be. /1 too expensive now 2/too crowded 3/ keep getting barged. jesus christ,i can just hear it now.bloody laughable, and far worse than the part timers lol.

It's great that people turn up at the games, part time supporters or not. They generate income to SCFC and generate noise as well. The players need support if we are to get promoted - the more people who turn up the better!

Very it seems, a few games ago, a youngish couple , came upto where i sit and said "I think you're in our seats" .... I just said "No chance this is my seat, season ticket holder, try the row in front" they looked at their ticket and said , "seat 3** & 3** Row 36 " I said ... "yep, thats the row in front"
I didn't feel the need to moan about part time supporters
