I drove 100 mile early Friday morning to be told by the ticket office, there were NO tickets available for My son and me in any other area apart from, JS upper or away stand? I've seen the utube video which clearly shows empty seats in all stands. I want email addresses now! Flippin bloody buggers. Look i'm so mad they made me swear

To be fair that vid was taken at full time when people were leaving. I sit in the Seddon so dont know if there were any seats on that side of the ground.

Also you have to think not all season tickets holders would be able to make Friday night, especially exiles, the elderly & people just put off by the cold, I knew a few who couldn't go last night = a few empty seats.

There was an empty seat next to me in the Boothen. But then again, somebody nearby to us did spend the whole of the 2nd half farting so i'm surprised there was just the one empty seat.

Why can't we do something, anything!! about the bloody car parking so we don't get this mass exodus? I know it happens everywhere but I do think we're worse than most.

Ilford >> i didn't take into account that They had GIVEN all the tickets away FREE on Tuesday and there would be no room for paying customers
Not as if its a regular thing is it?
Also went down Stoke to pick up my son who'd had a couple of days at his Nans. Told him we would go to Fridays because we couldn't make it Tuesday. OK?

But , i just can't see why you didn't go in the South Stand ?, its the same price as the Boothen, next to players tunnel, bit of banter with what small number of away fans that turned up, and chance to see the game from a stand we don't often get to use . Its like you cut off your nose to spite your face by driving 100 miles back home to listen on the radio . in my book its a no brainer of a decision, go in the south stand .
Even at the Vic in the 90's the Stoke end terrace wasn't always used by the away fans, I remember numerous games where Stokies had the Stoke End terrace and seats, and the away fans were chucked in the Butler Street Paddock at that end

Because i always sit in the JS lower never sat in the away end and dont intend to, my decision.
I was tempted to go JS upper but decided not to at £28 each after so many tickets given away.
What don't you believe anyway?

The question i first asked was why i coulnt buy a ticket anywhere else when there was so many empty?
Its like the spanish inquisition on here, i only asked a question.
"Its like you cut off your nose to spite your face "
Yes, but it was what i did. It is also the trueth, and only the Fat bald man behind the counter can prove me right, is that OK?

Frasier,
This has already been answered, if the club have sold a (Season)TICKET, it does not mean that the seat is then used as people may not be able to turn up for one reason or another. How are the club meant to predict if someone is going to turn up or not?

Ilford Dave
I rang for my tickets and was queing for a combined 110 minutes at 2p per minute ... go work it out.
If I had the time to drive down it would have been cheaper for me to do so than ring. I wasted all the 'saving' of BOGOF on the phone call !

ilford is a part timer stoke supporter who's hobbies include telling everyone on the oatcake how he is the worlds greatest paper boy, getting threads he's started removed by admin after he's made to look a fool, and telling a load of people who dont give a fuck that him and mrs ilford have split up followed by how in italy he lost a load of weight, (didnt look like it last time i saw him) and the fact that he's learned to drink coffee.
Ilford dave the house of the griffins salutes you, you big tit.
