What more do people want? We got to top of the league, surely the team deserve some appreciation at the end of the game rather than approximately 5,000 people flocking out from 75 minutes onwards? An exciting game, a wonderful comeback, one of the best assists I've seen and people just buggered off to their cars to try and sneak off early. Bloody annoying that there were massive holes in the crowd towards the end, but I'm sure there'll be plenty of excuses. I just can't understand them.

Was in JSU and my mate pointed out exactly the same thing - cars streaming away from about 77 mins - must have left just after 70th minute - why??? Did they not want to be around come the end and the celebrations? Only left early once back at the Vic against Leyton Orient - 1-0 down with 2 mins left and then The Golden One scores twice Never again!!!

Foxystach, I remember that game so well.I have only ever left early once,Derby home 4or 5 years ago.Marcus Hall scored deep into injury time.It was my son's first game and he wanted to leave as he was scared, still not forgive him to this day .Nowadays he will not leave until the last player leaves the pitch.

What difference does that two minutes make? Don't be so wet, queue like a man.
Hold on, 'it's a Friday night'? Sounds like you're having a real rave on your computer.

Looking after the elderly and such is fine. Did all 5000 people catch the philanthropy bug to go and volunteer for work at an old folk's home?

there was a guy in the family stand that left after 8 minutes, he came back after half time took his seat again, waited another 5 minutes then fooked off again and that was the last we saw of him, pi$$ed up fooker does it every game
as for leaving early my old fella who is in his seventies hates the car parking fiasco and refuses point blank to get stuck in it, he fought for his country and has been a regular season ticket holder for longer than he can remember, if he wants to leave before the end who the hell are you to call him a wanker. when youve been inattendence for sixty years then you can call him names till then fuck you

thebrain with you on that thought.
People leave when they need too. just because you have to leave early does not mean you are less of a supporter.
Mys I think you need to look at yourself and not criticise others it is a choice you have to make!

People who left early did it with the common sensical view of getting of the carparks without a problem.

There was one bloke in Block 22, who shouted to his mates. "I've had enough of this shit, see you in Last Orders (shity pub in Stoke) after the game. I'm not staying to watch this fookin crap" This was after we went 2 nil down in the first half. Why bother comming in the first place. I hope his mates who stayed took the piss out of him when they met him after the match.
Fantastic comeback in the second half!

The best way to beat the traffic after the game is to stay for a pint in either the cricket club,Power league, D's or even in the concourse. the best bit of the game is having a pint and endulging in some post match analysis ;D

I left before the end because I work at the Sainsbury's depot on night shifts and I had to get over there in time for my 10pm start. Which is where I am now It was the same on Tuesday too. Ran out of holidays untill 23rd March so couldn't book these games off

if they are caught leaving before the end they should have their ID cards taken off them by the Stewards. Surely they are not True Supporters?

For me, the long drawn out executon of getting off the car park has, and always will be, part of going to the game.
I realise people have their reasons for leaving early, but if it's just to get off the car park, you're a toss-pot (in the nicest possible "you're a Stoke supporter too" kind of sense)!!!!

I think you are totally wrong,I have a season ticket and a car park ticket, you know maybe the supporters concerned may feel they do not have to ask anyone what time they leave. Also they may not like staying behind for an hour to get off the car parks.

Smiled last night , sit in the JSU , an nice old fela who uses a stick sits at the end of our row with a middle aged bloke each week , (not sure if it's his son) they always leave at least 10-12 mintues from the end ..we always assumed it was for the benifit of the old chap...fair play Last night he was with someone else and stayed until a 1 minute before the end ..all this time they'd been leaving early cos of the other 'son' Or perhaps it just ment a hell of a lot to one of our older fans to see the team go top of the league...
