A mate of mine got one on a Tuesday. I think that people are going to have to decide (if we do go up) that driving down, and parking nearby, just isn't possible as it stands. Any time after 3/4 of an hour before kick off, you've got no chance. Just not enough space to look after gates of 16000+
The ticketing seemed a bit sporadic, some ticketed some not, it seems that if you park on a verge, away from the pavement or road, they can't ticket you (?) But if your wheels are on the road/pavement they can.
The fookers must sit in the back of a van, waiting for the match to start.
It needs sorting, one way or the other, there just aren't enough local spaces. At a time when we're trying to encourage people to come to the games, having to park in Heron Cross or similar, some people will just say fuck it.

i agree it is disgraceful spineless behavour a petition or some sort of action should be done, people should bombard the club and shitty council with complaints.its no wonder people are put off going the match WANKERS.,If it is a safety issue why dont they stop people parking in the first place .Totally makes my blood boil

plenty of space at Remploy last night well after 7pm. Do they have loads of car parks at Anfield or Old Trafford - no.

Are there not warning signs put up on lamp-posts etc. that if you park in specific areas near the ground, you're likely to get a ticket for parking illegally? In which case, people take the risk, and have to suffer the consequences, surely?

There shouldn't need to be signs. If you park on a slip road, flyover, double yellow lines WHAT DO YOU EXPECT??? How is it gutless/spineless??? THEY ARE DOING THEIR JOBS.
Is it really that hard to get a car park ticket??? Like people said there was Remploy. Also what about the Trent and South Car Park.
Everyone has known since the ground has been open, that if you cross the double yellow lines, and park then you will get a ticket. There are plenty of buses aswell, so I don't see what the problem is.

The car park season tickets are great. They save money, you always get a space and you don't have to faf about getting a ticket every week.

This may be considered quite a drastic idea, but, if you don't want to be fined, don't park illegally.
A petition - ?! How are you going to phrase that? "If you don't think people who park illegally should be fined - sign here".
Hilarious.
